Chapter 649
Seeing Hamilton’s face turn purple with rage only made Marico laugh.
“Why don’t you come over and kill me?”
“Marico, I’m not getting into it with you out of respect for Theodore. Don’t push it.”
“Push it?”
Marico’s eyes darted around, a wicked grin spreading across his face. He put the car in gear and gave Hamilton’s bumper a sharp, crisp tap.
After the impact, he looked back at Hamilton.
“Mr. Amos, would you call that pushing it?”
Hamilton gritted his teeth. If it were anyone else, he would have already been throwing punches. But it was Marico, and he was wary of him. First, because he was a Stapleton, and second, because the guy was a psycho who, once he bit down, never let go.
He swallowed his anger and turned back to Natalie.
“Natalie, I really want to talk to you…”
Before he could finish, Natalie shook off his arm again and walked straight to Marico’s car. Without asking for permission, she opened the back door and got in with her daughter.
“Back up a bit. There’s a turn-off back there,” Natalie said irritably.
Marico chuckled. “Ms. Taylor, am I your chauffeur now?”
“Just hurry up and stop talking.”
“You could at least ask if it’s convenient for me, you know?”
“Shh!”
Kristin tilted her head and looked at Marico, putting a finger to her lips.
“My mommy is very, very angry right now. We all have to be quiet and not make her madder.”
Marico rolled his eyes. “She’s your mom, not mine!”
“But she’s really scary when she’s mad.”
“I…”
Before Marico could retort, Kristin placed a piece of milk candy in his hand.
“You can have my candy.”
Marico looked at the candy in his palm, amused and a little helpless. “You think you can bribe me with one piece of candy?”
Kristin pouted, then pulled two more pieces from her pocket and put them all in his hand. “I gave you all my candy.”
Marico asked playfully, “Really? All of it?”
Kristin nodded eagerly, even turning her pocket inside out to prove it.
“Alright, you’ve successfully bribed me.”
Marico glanced at Natalie. She seemed so certain he would escort them that she
had already leaned back and closed her eyes to rest.
“I must have owed you two in a past life.”
He muttered to himself, and seeing Hamilton’s car still hadn’t moved he had no choice but to reverse. After backing up a good distance, he
finally found the tfrm off and drøve

“Mr. Stapleton, you promised to take me to the beach for a drive. You can’t go back on your word!”
The voice startled Natalie. She opened her eyes and looked at the passenger seat where a curvy
woman in a low-cuts
was sitting.
And from her angle, Natalie could also see Marico’s hand caressing the woman’s
thigh in a thoroughly sleazy way.
“Sweetie, in such a hurry? Can’t you wait?” Marico asked.
“I’m just afraid you’ll be… distracted by other options.”
The comment was clearly aimed at Natalie. Natalie leaned forward, intending to explain things to the woman.
After all, she was another actress from the set; no need for a misunderstanding over a scumbag.
But as she leaned forward, she got another surprise. The woman in the passenger seat wasn’t the same one she’d seen Marico with in the woods.
He’d already switched to a new one?
“What a pig!” Natalie cursed silently, leaning back in her seat.
“Other options?” Marico scoffed. “I’m very picky. I’m not necessarily interested in
what’s on the menu.”
