Chapter 561
Dylan was a mess, that much was obvious.
But what truly shocked Penelope was Natalie. Her face was deathly pale, her hair was disheveled, her clothes were torn, and from the way she was walking, it was painfully clear what she had just endured.
Fury shot through Penelope. She clenched her fists, ready to storm in and settle the score with Hamilton.
Natalie grabbed her arm. “First… let’s get Dylan to the hospital.”
Penelope glanced at Dylan. His head was bleeding, blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, and he was clutching his ribs, his body trembling in pain as he gritted his teeth to stay upright.
She took a deep breath and helped support him. “Alright. Hospital first.”
Michael was also taken aback by their battered state and helped get them into the
car.
“If… if you need anything, please, call me.”
Before getting in the car, Penelope shot Michael a cold glare. “You can give Hamilton a message for me. Tell him I’ll make him pay for what he did tonight. He can count on it.”
Michael cleared his throat. “I’ll be sure to pass it on.”
Penelope got into the driver’s seat, wiped the blood from her forehead, and sped toward the hospital.
Watching the car disappear, Michael frowned and turned back toward the factory. When he reached the warehouse, the bodyguards were all standing outside, while the sound of things being smashed came from within.
He walked in to find the place in utter chaos. Hamilton was lifting an empty oil drum and slamming it onto the ground.
“Natalie! I’m going to fucking kill you!”
“You just wait! You just wait!”
“You and that bastard! Neither of you will get away with this!”
Hamilton was like a man possessed, unleashing all his violent rage and frustration.
“If Theodore hadn’t stopped you, would you have killed them both tonight?” Michael asked, walking closer with a frown.
Hamilton didn’t answer. Instead, he kicked over a stack of empty oil drums in the corner. They clattered and rolled across the floor. Still not satisfied, he kicked them one by one.
“You hate Natalie this much just because she cheated on you and embarrassed you?”
“The hell are you talking about?” Hamilton glared at Michael, his eyes bloodshot. Michael sighed. “Never mind. In any case, you’ve really gone too far this time.”
At the hospital, after Dylan was admitted to the emergency room, Penelope needed to get her own
wound treated. But she was
worried about Natalie to leave her, so she pulled her along.
The doctor said Penelope’s cut wasn’t deep, but recommended she stay overnight
for observation.
Once the doctor left, Penelope hugged Natalie.
“If you want to cry, just cry.”
Natalie closed her eyes. “It’s strange. I don’t feel like crying at all right now.”
“First thing tomorrow, we’ll go back to our town.”

been hiding from them for six years, and they still won’t let me go There’s no point in hiding anymore.” Cóntent
Penelope pulled back and looked at her.
“You’re going to stay in Orenth?”
Natalie clenched her fists. “You were right. The first time they bullied me, I didn’t fight back, so they assumed I was an easy target and just kept doing it.”
“How can people be so cruel?”
“So this time, I’m going to fight back. I’m going to show them that Natalie is not someone they can just push around.”
Penelope gripped Natalie’s
shoulders, a look of pride on her face. “That’s the spirit! You have to stand up for yourself in this world. No one gets to make us feel small, and no one gets to bully us!”
