Chapter 647
The video showed Queena and the little boy dragging Kristin onto the terrace. After a few words, they started arguing.
Kristin clearly wanted nothing to do with them and turned to leave. At that moment, Queena took the clip from her hair, slyly hid it in a flowerpot, and then pointed at Kristin, shouting, “You’re a thief! You stole my hair clip!”
Seeing this, the crowd gasped.
They’d suspected Queena might be lying, but they were still shocked by her actions.
“Where did that video come from? Turn it off, now!” Maria yelled in a panic.
Her bodyguards moved to shut it down, but Marico blocked their path. He just stood there, grinning, and no one dared to make a move.
He was a Stapleton, and you didn’t mess with the Stapleton family.
Seeing her bodyguards hesitate while the video continued to display her daughter’s bullying, Maria turned to Hamilton.
“Hamilton, make them turn it off! This isn’t good for Queena!”
Hamilton’s eyes were glued to the screen. “I can’t believe I trusted you both, without a shred of doubt.”
“Queena was just… she was just confused for a moment.”
“Is this the ‘good daughter’ you raised?”
“Hamilton…”
“Enough! You treated me like I was nothing but a joke!”
The footage then showed Natalie arriving. She had only pulled the boy away to stop him from hurting her daughter; she hadn’t hit him at all.
And yet he had accused her of hitting him, and Queena had brazenly backed up his lie.
The onlookers were speechless, stunned by the two children’s manipulations. This kind of behavior wasn’t a one-time thing; it was clearly ingrained, fostered by parents who indulged them instead of guiding them.
Just as Maria had done moments ago, acting as her daughter’s accomplice instead of stopping her.
After the video finished, the ballroom was silent for a long moment.
“My daughter did not steal anything,” Natalie repeated, and this time, everyone heard her.
She then turned to Hamilton. “You

Hamilton paused. “My intention was to de-escalate the situation, to protect you both.”
“Ha, protect us? Don’t you think that sounds ridiculous?”
Hamilton frowned. “Natalie, it’s because you lied to me before that I couldn’t trust you.”
“So, ultimately, it’s my fault?”
“If you need an apology…”
“I don’t accept it. And neither does my daughter!”
Hamilton’s face darkened. “I keep giving you chances, don’t…”
“Don’t push my luck, is that it?”
“Yes!”
“I fail to see any ‘luck’ you’ve offered. So I guess I’ll just be ungrateful.”
Hamilton gritted his teeth, but before say more, Natalie had.

Maria scoffed. “You want me to apologize to you? You must be dreaming.”
“No apology, then?” Natalie glanced at Marico. “Did you save the video?”
Her tone was blunt, but Marico seemed used to it.
“Saved and secure. I’ll send it to you.”
Natalie nodded and looked back at Maria. “If you don’t apologize, I’ll post it online.”
“Don’t you go too far!”
“Who’s the one who went too far?”
Maria shot a desperate look at Hamilton, hoping for his help, but his eyes were fixed only on Natalie.
