Penelope’s brow furrowed at the news.

“I talked to him for a long time. He seemed to have calmed down, and I thought he was listening to me, but when I turned around to get him a glass of water, he bolted from my trailer.”

“He just left?”

Penelope asked the film crew to help search, while she and Natalie headed down a mountain path.

“Penelope, just give me three more months! I’ll come home quietly then!” he shouted back over his shoulder as he ran.

“I can give you time, but you have to tell me what you’re planning to do!”

“Norton! Your grandfather is back, your mom is in the hospital, and your brother is worried sick about you! Please, just come home with me!”
