Maria hadn’t noticed Julian until Harold stepped in her way.
“Ms. Scott, you’re going to frighten Julian.”
Maria paused when she saw Harold, only then spotting Julian next to Penelope.

Maria’s face darkened. “I have something to discuss with her, if you don’t mind
