Chapter 854
In front of Aaron, Stella no longer brought up Felix or Evan.
Especially Felix.
Whenever she mentioned him, no matter what had happened, Aaron always told her to trust him.
Aaron’s faith in Felix was absolute.
Anything Stella said seemed meaningless in the face of it.
After a while, she simply stopped trying.
“How is Yara?”
Stella asked when Aaron came back downstairs after retrieving what he needed.
Yara had been one of the few people in the Wright family who had treated her well.
That was the only reason Stella asked.
Aaron frowned.
He disliked people prying into his private affairs.
Not even his own sister was exempt.
“She was one of the few Wrights who was kind to me,” Stella explained quietly.
Aaron’s expression eased slightly.
But he only gave a faint nod.
He did not answer her question before leaving.
The moment he was gone, Evan called.
“Yara is with your brother?”
“You’re only finding out now?”
Ever since going to Seaborne, Evan had seemed like a completely different person.
Especially now that he was bold enough to enter Eirden.
Stella had thought he had become capable of anything.
Apparently, he was only just learning about Yara.
“She never treated you badly when you were with the Wright family,” Evan said.
“So you admit Fiona and Summer did?”

Evan went silent.
The mention of Fiona and Summer clearly struck a nerve.
“There’s something I should tell you,” Stella said.
“What?”
“Your beloved sister-in-law has kidney failure. She has a rare blood type, so finding a compatible donor won’t be easy. You’d better work hard. Do everything you can to keep her alive.”
Her mocking tone made Evan’s temples throb.
“Are you trying to make me sick?”
When it came to Summer, Evan truly was disgusted now.
Hearing Stella call her his beloved sister-in-law made his stomach turn.
That infuriating woman always knew exactly where to strike.
She had done it before.
And now she was even better at it.
She went straight for the most painful spot without an ounce of mercy.
Stella laughed.
“So now she disgusts you?”
“You used to think she was wonderful. You could barely go a day without hovering around her.”
Evan said nothing.
He wanted to tear that mouth of hers apart.
“I’m serious,” Stella said. “Summer really does have kidney failure.”
“That has nothing to do with me.”
The more Evan had once protected Summer, the more desperately he wanted nothing to do with her now
He wished he had never known her.
He wished he could erase that entire part of his life.
He even wished Summer had never married Steven, so she would never have become his sister-in-law at
all.
Hearing how disgusted Evan was by Summer, Stella smiled.
“Yara being with your brother may not be a good thing,” Evan said. “You should…”

“If you’re asking me to help, I can’t.”
Stella cut him off before he could finish.
“You…”
“What right do you have to ask me for help, Evan? Especially when it concerns the Wright family.”
“She was good to you.”
“Her mother took my mother’s life.”
Evan fell silent.
There was no answer to that.
She was right.
