Chapter 925
Felix was no longer the man she wanted to marry.
How could she possibly choose a wedding gown she liked?
“Miss Rowan, what do you think of this one?”
A voice suddenly spoke up.
The lead stylist immediately turned a stern look on the young woman who had spoken.
She was just about to reprimand her when Stella raised her eyes.
One glance was enough.
“Tha: one’s not bad.”
The lead stylist froze.
“You can help me try it on,” Stella said.
It was Remi.
She had followed Stella all the way back to Eirden and somehow infiltrated the bridal team.
Remi nodded.
“Of course, Miss Rowan.”
She eagerly found a gown identical to the one she was wearing and carried it over.
“Miss Rowan.”
“Let’s use the dressing room. I’m not comfortable changing in front of people
Stella rose.
When several attendants moved forward to help her, she stopped them.
“Only her.”
She looked directly at Remi.
Remi nodded.
“Understood.”
Stella headed toward the dressing room, and Remi hurried after her with the gown in her arms.
As Remi passed the lead stylist, the woman grabbed her arm.
“Be careful.”
It sounded like a warning, but the irritation in her voice was obvious.
As though Remi had stolen an opportunity that should have belonged to her.
“Yes, ma’am,” Remi replied obediently.
Internally, she rolled her eyes so hard she could barely contain herself.
The moment the dressing-room door closed, Remi began helping Stella change.

But not into the wedding gown.
Instead, she searched the closet for casual clothes.
“You actually dared to come back here?” Stella asked. “Aren’t you afraid they’ll kill you?”
Felix had genuinely intended to have Remi killed the day before simply because she worked for Evan.
“My assignment is to take you to Sevi Valley,” Remi replied.
Until she completed that assignment, she would not leave.
She would keep finding ways to get Stella there.
“You’re willing to come with me now, right?” Remi asked.
It would make everything much easier if Stella went willingly.
If not, things would become far more complicated.
Stella looked at her without answering.
“I’ll take your silence as a yes,” Remi said. “You really do need to cooperate. Look at me. I’m not exactly built to carry you out of here.”
If she had to drag Stella away, that would be a serious problem.
Her words finally made Stella smile.
“What makes you think I’ll go with you?”
“You don’t want to marry Mr. Hernandez anymore,” Remi said. “So of course you’ll come with me.”
Stella fell silent.
“Unless you do want to marry him?”
Did she?
Back in Harbor City, Stella had only believed there was an enormous gap between her and Felix.
The barrier had always been on her side.
She had lacked the confidence to cross it because she believed she was not good enough for him.
But now?
Now she simply did not want him.
“We have to go to Sevi Valley?”
Remi had already found suitable clothes and immediately began pulling Stella’s nightgown over her head.
At the same time, she raised her voice.
“Miss Rowan, does this feel too tight here?”
“A little.”
“I’ll make a note of it so we can have that section altered.”
Outside, the bridal team carefully recorded that Stella liked the design but needed a slightly larger fit.

Inside, Remi had already helped her into an all-black casual outfit.
Ten minutes passed.
Then twenty.
Eventually, half an hour had gone by.
The lead stylist checked her watch again and again.
Finally, her assistant leaned closer and whispered, “Ms. Carr, does it normally take this long to try on one wedding gown?”
They had been inside for half an hour, and neither woman had emerged.
