Felix no longer believed Amos was the fool Aaron claimed he was.

Aaron’s expression turned cold.

“You really think Amos has the brains to orchestrate everything that’s happened over the past three days?”

“You don’t?”

“He isn’t capable of planning something this elaborate.”

Aaron had known Amos for years, and they had crossed paths countless times.

Amos had fought back before, but his attempts had never caused Aaron more than a minor inconvenience .

That was the limit of his ability.

But this time was different .
