“Alright. Let’s not talk about this anymore.”
Seeing that Stella still hadn’t come around, Felix didn’t push the subject further.
He had already said everything he needed to say.

Stella stopped talking.
“Let’s go eat first.”
Felix picked her up and started toward the door.
“I don’t want to go anymore.”
Felix paused.
After talking about all of this with him, Stella had completely lost her appetite.
The food she had wanted just moments ago suddenly didn’t sound appealing anymore.
Felix looked at her.
She had finally wanted to eat something for once, and now she was giving up on it?
“ Let’s still go. Maybe you’ll really like the food.”
She had barely been eating lately, and that wasn’t good for her recovery.

“ I really don’t feel like eating anymore.”
“Well, I want to eat. Keep me company.”
Stella stared at him.
Come with him?
He really had the nerve to say that.
As if the two of them were on the kind of terms where she would happily keep him
company.
Still, she didn’t argue anymore.
They knew each other too well.
Since she had already mentioned the restaurant, Felix was definitely going to take her.
And once Felix made up his mind about something, arguing rarely changed anything.
It was freezing outside.
The moment the icy wind hit them, Felix instinctively tucked Stella’s head against his
chest.
Jack already had the car warmed up and waiting.
Felix quickly carried Stella inside.
“When the weather gets warmer, make sure the garage gets finished.”
The conditions here were still fairly basic.
The house didn’t even have an attached garage.
The heater inside the car was running at full blast.
Stella tried to move away from Felix, but the injury to her leg still hadn’t fully healed,
and even shifting positions was difficult.
Felix tightened his arms around her.
“Don’t move around.”
“Let go of me . ”

It was only about fifteen minutes.
Taking off all those layers just to put them back on again would probably make her more likely to catch a chill.

That was how Felix was now.
Any chance he got, he found some excuse to stay physically close to her.
Stella hated it.
But Felix seemed determined to force his way into every corner of her life this way.
Just like Evan.
When it came to trying to win her back, neither man seemed to have any better ideas.
So they resorted to shameless persistence.
The restaurant wasn’t very big.
But the moment they walked inside, everything about it felt like Harbor City.
Even the aromas drifting out from the kitchen were familiar.
Felix glanced around.
“Looks like this place might actually be pretty authentic . ”
It was only a small town, so there obviously weren’t restaurants serving every regional
cuisine.
This was the only Harbor City– style place around, and it had only recently opened.
Stella’s expression softened slightly.
Once they sat down , a server brought over the menus.
The dishes listed there were all familiar.

Felix ordered several things Stella usually liked, then handed her the menu.
“Take a look. Anything else you want?”
Stella glanced down.
“You already ordered everything I wanted.”
Compared with Evan, Felix really did know her tastes better.
