Chapter 1251
Hate her?
Yes, Stella had done things worth hating.
But in Evan’s eyes, the person he hated most now was himself.
Yara gave a cold laugh.
“There’s really nothing left for me to say to you.”
Before Evan could respond, she hung up.
He listened to the disconnected tone, his head beginning to pound again.
Yara had lost it.
Even through the phone, Evan could hear something unhinged in her voice.
Yara had barely spent any time with the Wright family before.
He had never imagined their deaths would hit her this hard or drive her to such an extreme.
Just then, Zane walked in.
“Sir, these documents need your signature.”
Evan pinched the bridge of his nose.
His headache was getting worse.
When he didn’t respond, Zane respectfully set the documents down and turned to leave.
But before he could take another step, Evan spoke.
“Get me a ticket to Eirden.”
Zane froze.
“But you can’t enter Eirden right now. Have you forgotten?”
After Aaron sent Evan back to Harbor City, he had also made sure Evan could no longer enter
Eirden.
There was no legal way for him to go back now.
“Then find another way.”
Evan ground out the words.
Yara could not stay by Aaron’s side any longer.

Aaron was already a madman.
And with Yara acting like this, she was practically courting death.
Evan had to bring her back.
Even if Yara currently held a special place in Aaron’s heart, Aaron was still an extremely dangerous man.
He had once been willing to sacrifice his own sister when family interests were at stake.
And then there was Felix.
Evan had seen clearly how Felix felt about Stella.
Felix really would kill Yara for her.
Zane nodded.
“I’ll find a way.”

Stella had no idea how strongly Evan and Felix had reacted to Aaron’s determination to force her back to Eirden.
Remi had already received word that Aaron’s people were near Sima Mountain.
She was still trying to decide where to take Stella when Michael Hogarth’s people arrived.
“Miss Rowan, Mr. Hogarth sent us to bring you back.”
Stella fell silent.
So did Remi.
“David?”
David Nash was one of Michael Hogarth’s trusted men.
He nodded respectfully.
“Don’t worry. We avoided Mr. Hogarth’s people.”
Stella and Remi exchanged a glance.
Avoided Aaron’s people?
David continued,
“Mr. Hogarth knows everything now. He said you can come back without worrying.”
Stella looked at him.

“Can I trust him?”
Mere was an unmistakable bitterness in her voice.
Michael was her own father.
And yet she couldn’t seem to trust even him from the bottom of her heart anymore
Her wariness was obvious.
David’s expression softened.
“Mr. Hogarth said he’s sorry. The Queen had been keeping him occupied recently, and he truly didn’t know what Aaron had done.”
“He also said that if you don’t want to acknowledge Aaron as your brother anymore, that’s fine.”
Stella’s nose suddenly stung.
“But I don’t want to trust him anymore.”
She knew Michael had always been busy.
Even after they acknowledged each other as father and daughter, they had barely seen one
another.
But the time she had spent in Eirden with Aaron had been some of the most chaotic and painful days of her life.
In some ways, it had been even harder than Harbor City.
She had been lost.
Helpless.
Afraid.
Everything she thought she understood about the world had been overturned.
Aaron was her biological brother.
And yet she couldn’t trust him.
Felix had still seemed like himself back in Harbor City.
But after coming to Eirden, even he had become someone she barely recognized.
And somewhere along the way, Stella’s entire world had become hollow.
