Chapter 1190
“So this is what you call a sense of responsibility?”
Vivian was so angry she could barely think straight.
“I didn’t expect him to do something like this either.“–
For Jennifer, Leon had actually gone this far.
No matter how many people they sent out, they still couldn’t find any trace of him.
This time, Vivian was genuinely panicking.
Marianne let out a cold snort.
She didn’t expect it?
Vivian was annoyed by the older woman’s attitude too.
Back when they were discussing the plan, the two elders had agreed to it.
And now what?
They were putting all the blame on her?
But no matter how resentful Vivian felt, she didn’t dare argue with Marianne.
“You need to find him as soon as possible,” Marianne said coldly.
No matter what happened, Leon couldn’t be allowed to stay with Jennifer for too long.
“ I know . ”
Vivian knew Jennifer was no longer pregnant.
But she absolutely couldn’t let Jennifer end up carrying Leon’s child again.
That woman was far too calculating.
By acting like she didn’t care about anything, she had somehow gotten Leon completely wrapped around her finger.
They couldn’t let this continue.
Vivian barely remembered how she left the Redson estate.
Monique was waiting outside .

The moment she saw Vivian, she hurried over.
“ How did it go? Did his grandparents find any trace of Leon?”
The elders had also sent people out to search for him.
Damn Jennifer.
How was she so good at this?
Vivian looked at Monique.
Seeing the anxiety in her eyes, Vivian’s expression finally softened a little.
She shook her head.
“No.”
Monique’s heart sank immediately.
Nothing.
Still nothing.
“How could he just…”
Her voice broke before she could finish.
Monique rarely cried.
But this time, she couldn’t hold it in.
The hurt of being abandoned rose sharply in her chest,
Even her nose began to sting.
Vivian sighed.
“You and Leon grew up together. How could he just leave you behind like this?”
With a bond like theirs, Leon should never have been able to simply walk away.
And yet this time, he had.
“It’s all Jennifer’s fault,” Monique said bitterly. “She’s the one who got into his head.”
If Jennifer had never appeared, Monique believed she and Leon would have ended up together sooner or later .
Vivian’s face darkened immediately.

Jennifer
That damn woman,
Why did she have to be involved in everything?
She kept insisting she didn’t want Leon.
Then why hadn’t she stayed gone?
Why had she let Leon’s people find her again?
Vivian had seen plenty of women play hard to get before.
She just never imagined her own son would fall for something so obvious.
Her phone suddenly buzzed.
Vivian pulled it out and glanced at the screen.
It was one of her people.
She didn’t answer immediately.
Instead, she looked at Monique.
“ No matter what happens, we have to find Leon and bring him back.”
That damn boy .
Did he have any idea what he was doing?
Was Jennifer really the only woman he wanted?
Did he even see what kind of person she was?
With that, Vivian walked a short distance away and answered the call.
Monique remained where she was, frustration burning in her chest.
Find him?
Did Vivian think Monique didn’t want to?
But that would require Leon to actually let himself be found.
Even now , Monique still couldn’t understand how things between her and Leon had ended up
like this .

Vivian answered the phone.
“Mrs. Redson,” the person on the other end said, “after the girl was brought to Harbor City, she was later adopted by a family named Tanner in Warren City.”
“A family named Tanner?”
Vivian frowned.
Tanner?
