Charlene and Jasmine rode with Thorne. In the car, however, Charlene directed all her conversation toward Irma and Jasmine, completely ignoring Thorne. He, in turn, didn’t speak to her either. Irma noticed the cold shoulder between them and sighed silently again.

Vernon, understanding Thorne was leaving the choice to him, replied, “If Mr. Henderson has no objection, his usual suite would be perfect. Please lead the way p>
As they headed upstairs, they failed to notice the Hawkins and Spencer families, who had just arrived at the entrance.
They stopped in their tracks at the sight of Thorne with Charlene and the rest of the Ross family.
“Thorne just hired those doctors for that old woman a few days ago, and now he’s having dinner with them,” Rhoda muttered, a note of concern in her voice. “Why is he spending so much time with the Ross family lately p>
Leah frowned. “Exactly p>
After Vesta had warned her not to mention what Jasmine had said about the diamond, Leah had kept her mouth shut. She hadn’t understood Vesta’s calm reaction at first, but she had since reasoned that even if Thorne had given the diamond to Charlene, it was probably part of some settlement agreement and didn’t mean anything. Besides, while a few billion sounded like a lot, it was a drop in the bucket for someone with Thorne’s wealth. Thorne’s heart was with Vesta, so what did it matter if he gave Charlene some money?
Thinking this way, she could understand Vesta’s composure. But the thought of Charlene so easily receiving multi-billon dellar gifte still irked her, and seeing Thorne looking so amicable with the Ross family only made it worse
Vesta stared in the direction Thorne’s group had gone, her face a mask.
Maureen and Katie, however, remained calm. Laverne Hawkins said dismissively, “Irma is with them. She probably organized the dinner. It’s not a big deal p>
Her words seemed to placate Leah. “You’re right p>
Just then, a restaurant staff member approached them. “Ms. Hawkins, Mrs. Hawkins, Mr. Henderson has already gone upstairs p>
“We’ll need a separate room,” Vesta said coolly.

Meanwhile, in the other suite, the seating arrangement was telling. Charlene sat between Jasmine and Irma, while Thorne was seated between Jasmine and Vernon.
