Zach furrowed his brows. He could tell that Janice was someone who always said what was on her mind.
They were already aware that Ariel was included as one of the very few people in charge of leading and overseeing Faye Tech’s projects. However, they reckoned that her position was just for show.
Therefore, Zach could not understand why Janice was suddenly bringing that up now.
Frederick got to his feet and was about to say something. Yet, Chad showed up at that very moment. He was holding two drinks in his hands.
Chad raised his brows when he spotted Zach and Frederick He greeted both of them. Then, Chad passed the first drink to Ariel. “This only has 50 percent sugar. I told them not to add any ice to it. You should have something warm.”
Ariel accepted the drink and smiled faintly.
Zach was flabbergasted when he saw those two smiling at each other. Chad was being really kind to Ariel. He bought drinks for Ariel despite his busy schedule. Chad even remembered her preference for how sweet her drinks should be. Moreover, he even ordered something without ice because he was concerned about her health Chad was already used to these social situations. He knew very well what Zach and Frederick had come here for. Nevertheless, he adopted a polite yet slightly apologetic tone.
