Ariel asked straightforwardly, “Are you here to blame us for what happened? Or are you thinking of having me let Nancy off by making threats?”
Jayson looked at her. There was no hint of anger or displeasure on his face. He merely curled his lips. “Does it seem to you I’m going to do something like that?”
Ariel smirked. “Mr. Larkin, stop beating around the bush and just cut to the chase.”
She would like to hear what kind of excuse Jayson would use to threaten her.
Considering Jayson’s status and influence, Ariel would rather hear about his plans and thoughts first. Otherwise, they might not even realize what was happening once Jayson’s side started attacking Faye Technologies.
Unlike most people, Jayson wasn’t someone Ariel could get rid of simply by refusing to meet or talk to him.
Colton frowned slightly. He found Ariel’s attitude toward Jayson extremely rude. Jayson had only overlooked that since he didn’t care about her.
Jayson could tell that Ariel was being wary. He walked over to the couch and sat down. Then, he stated the purpose of his visit. “Alright. I hope you’ll consider dropping the charges.”

Jayson did not seem to mind her attitude. He made his offer right away. “If you drop the charges, I’ll transfer Nexura Solutions‘ ownership to you. You’ll become Nexura Solutions‘ owner.”
The smile on her face froze since Ariel was caught completely off guard.

Jayson placed the documents on the table.
“For Faye Tech, your strength lies in the quality of your skills and manpower. However, your company still lacks in certain areas, including resources, finances, research and development budget, and even facilities and infrastructure.
“Nexura Solutions will be able to make up for all those things that Faye Tech needs.”
Jayson directed his gaze to Ariel. His tone was calm and steady. “I know that Faye Tech doesn’t plan on focusing solely on developing new products or technologies. You’ll also want to expand your business and secure your position in the local industry.
“At the moment, Faye Tech has a disadvantage with regard to your facilities and infrastructure. Your production capacity is imperative to the company’s growth and development. Once you have ownership of Nexura Solutions, you can use them to aid and assist in Faye Tech’s operations and production for as long as ten years. It’s a gain for both you and Faye Tech.”
Ariel still found it quite hard to believe that Jayson had made that suggestion. Almost everyone in the industry knew the value Nexura Solutions held.
Although Nexura Solutions was just one of the tech companies Jayson owned, it had nevertheless succeeded in becoming one of the leading companies in this industry.

“You’re being incredibly generous, Mr. Larkin.” Ariel could not quite describe what she was feeling right now. A deep frown creased her forehead.
On the contrary, Jayson remained unfazed. He didn’t seem sad at all about losing the company.
“You can give my offer some thought. Whether you want to get rid of someone who won’t affect your future plans at all or to help Faye Tech rise to greater heights. I’m sure this is a very nice deal for you, regardless.”
Ariel’s gaze fell on his face. She could not help but find the situation ironic. “Should I applaud your love and affection for Ms. Stanton then, Mr. Larkin?”
Jayson met her eyes. He didn’t seem to mind Ariel’s scornful remark. He said unhurriedly, “Even if the Faye Tech team might not agree, Nancy was only partly responsible for what happened during this incident.
“If we had Bluum Corp’s legal team defend Nancy during the trials, they should be able to make sure she came out of it with the least amount of sentence received. They’ll just have to spend a bit of time on that. We’re both well aware that you’re just waiting for an offer that’s good enough for you now.”
Ariel didn’t refute those words.
Jayson stood up slowly. His gaze was trained on Ariel. “Besides, even if you insist on throwing Nancy into prison, she’s still not the main culprit in the incident. At most, people will comment about how she’s been dragged into this mess or that she hasn’t done her duties well enough as a superior.
“Nancy had not exactly done anything to acquire Faye Tech’s technical proposal illegally. So, people won’t blame
or call her out for that.
“Ari, the best scenario is for you to own Nexura Solutions and have it at your disposal.”
