Cecilia was already fuming and had no desire to stick around for empty pleasantries. She only ever reined in her temper a little in front of Jayson.

The courtyard was left to Evelyn and Jayda.

By the time she stormed into Samson’s villa, he was just coming down the stairs.
Cecilia’s expression was ugly. She downed a glass of ice water, then kept clawing at her arm as she looked up at Samson with a cold stare.

“Then tell me, what else am I supposed to do?” Cecilia was furious at that remark about “secondary wife“, but deep down, she couldn’t help envying Ariel.
