Chapter 200
Chapter 200
The moment Ariel saw Jayson, she quickly put away her phone and put on a calm expression.
“It’s nothing,” she said, then walked past him without another word. Her reply was polite but minimal.
As Jayson watched her retreating figure, his expression was unreadable.
Meanwhile, Chad and Jonathan had almost finished their discussion.
Ariel didn’t say anything further.
At this point, repeatedly refusing would only look ungrateful. In their circle, they had to be tactful to last long.
The next day, Ariel and Chad held a meeting.
Chad said, “Nexura is one of the leading companies in aerospace manufacturing. They specialize in military aircraft, commercial planes, and drones. Jadeon Tech may be a rising star, but when it comes to stability, Nexura is clearly ahead.”
Ariel reviewed the performance analyses of both companies.
She finally said, “Then Nexura it is. Our project has high technical demands. We need to avoid production risks.”
She made the decision swiftly.
When it came to business, she kept personal feelings out of it. In Eldoria, Nexura Solutions was the clear top choice.
Looking for a manufacturer outside the city would bring higher costs and potential quality control risks.
Chad gave the final word. “Notify Nexura Solutions.”
He then approached Ariel. “So should I reject Mr. Sanderson’s side?”
Ariel nodded. “Yes.” ɴᴇᴡ ɴᴏᴠᴇʟ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs ᴀʀᴇ ᴘᴜʙʟɪsʜᴇᴅ ᴏɴ (.)net
Chad sighed. “I don’t know why Nancy’s so fixated on this project that she’s trying to get involved through the back door. Jayson’s got plenty of tricks
up his sleeve, and Mr. Pearce can’t keep turning him down outright. We
need to do him this favor.”
They knew perfectly well that Nexura Solutions was the top choice for aerospace manufacturing.
While it seemed like they had chosen it over Jadeon Technologies, in reality, Jayson had lined up this contract to keep Nancy happy.
Even if Nexura Solutions was truly the best option and would benefit Faye Technologies most, something about the arrangement still felt uneasy.
However, Ariel didn’t care much. She smiled faintly. “I’m happy as long as Nancy doesn’t join the R&D team.”

Chad nodded in agreement. “Th

took two days off to rest and recuperate.
On the third day, Ariel was notified that the full payment for her house had arrived.
After confirming the amount, she immediately went to Faye Technologies.
The project officially started.
News about Faye Technologies and the funding spread quickly.
It had only been a few days since the initial talks. No one knew which company had put up such a large sum.
When Jayson got the news, he was in a meeting.
He saw Matt and the others chatting in their group chat.
Matt was so stunned that he sent seven messages in a row.
“No way. Who the hell invested?
“They didn’t say a word about funding at the golf course that day. Did they really secure it?
“Why hasn’t Faye Tech announced the investor? This is just unbelievable!”
Nancy asked, “Is this news for sure?”
Perry replied, “Yeah, even the government’s acting now. Faye Tech really has the funds.”
Matt asked, “Jayson, do you know what’s going on with your ex–wife?”
Jayson exited the chat and checked Faye Technologies‘ announcement. As expected, he saw that they had successfully secured 500 million dollars in funding.
A faint smirk tugged at the corner of his lips as he put away his phone.
Meanwhile, Frederick was having dinner at home when he heard this news.
He was shocked too.
He had thought Chad would come begging for investment. But in the end, he quietly managed to secure it himself.
