He simply didn’t want Bianca Lowell moving in.

The alcohol had left him completely disoriented.

He didn’t resist her, but his entire weight practically collapsed against her.

“Can you walk on your own?” she asked, her voice strained.

“I don’t live here,” he mumbled, refusing to go inside the hotel.

Noreen flared up. “Then where the hell do you live? Keep this up and I’ll leave you on the curb.”

It was the middle of the night, and he was being completely impossible.

In all the years they had known each other, she had never seen him drunk due to his alcohol allergy.

This was her first time witnessing it, and she never expected him to be such a handful.

When she got drunk, she was never this annoying… was she?

Seth repeated it word for word. “Unit 1389, Sunrise Apartments on Sterling Road.”

That was the apartment she had rented for seven years.

Of course she remembered it.

But she never could have imagined Seth would be living there.

Walking back into that cramped space, a massive wave of emotion crashed over

her.

The layout was exactly the same as it had been five years ago. Nothing had changed.

Even the trophy she used to cherish so deeply was still sitting in its original spot.
