Chapter 945
The question made Noreen raise an eyebrow.
She remembered the answer to this.
Being the other man for love.
Five years ago, on the night she had planned to propose to him, Jude had asked
him the exact same question.
Noreen had heard it loud and clear.
And she remembered it just as clearly.
Because that was the exact moment her seven-year dream had shattered.
Seth didn’t answer immediately. His dark, burning gaze slowly shifted toward Noreen.
She simply averted her eyes, ignoring his stare. Her expression remained utterly impassive, betraying absolutely no intimacy between them to the onlookers.
Seth finally spoke, his voice unhurried, delivering the exact same answer he had given five years ago.
“Being the other man for love.”
Noreen’s lips twitched in a silent, cynical smirk.
Seth leaned back against the sofa. The dim, ambient lighting fell into his eyes, only
to be swallowed whole by their dark, bottomless depths.
Jude’s reaction was just as dramatic as before. “What kind of woman makes you stoop so low for love?”
The rest of the room leaned in, completely captivated.
But Seth effortlessly brushed it off. “The rules state you only get one question per round.”
Jude rubbed his hands together. “Spin again! I am getting that answer tonight!”
“We’ll see if you’re lucky enough,” Seth replied coolly.
The second round fell on one of Jude’s friends.
The interrogator asked the man if he loved his wife.
The man scoffed. “It’s a business marriage. Love has nothing to do with it.”
Jude crossed his arms. “Even in a business marriage, you can still find someone you actually like.”
The man just laughed. “Broaden your horizons, Jude. You can always find someone you like after the wedding, as long as you don’t make a mess of it in public.”
This was the ugly truth behind most corporate marriages.
Having navigated the business world for years, Noreen had seen it all. It didn’t surprise her anymore.
Human nature was exactly like this entirely dependent on a person’s conscience.
And a conscience wasn’t something everyone possessed.
She instantly lost all interest in the game, her mind racing to formulate an exit strategy.
She texted Claire, asking her to call in five minutes.
While waiting for Claire’s reply, the bottle pointed to Dylan.
And coincidentally, the person asking the question was Crystal.
No wonder she had chosen to sit directly across from him. She came prepared.
Armed with the right to ask, Crystal
s the question that had been
eating at her for ages. “Hae dated anyone else beso I
me?”
Dylan’s gaze darkened. He instinctively reached for his glass, fully intending to drink rather than answer.
Crystal snatched the glass first and downed it in one gulp.
Her eyes were redder than before,
and her voice trembled. “I took the et
penalty for you. Now answer question.”
Someone nudged Dylan. “Just tell her. She clearly needs to know.”
“Does it even matter anymore?” Dylan muttered, still refusing.
Crystal’s vision blurred with tears. She downed two more glasses and

He pinned her wrist to the table, his expression arctic. “What the hell are you doing?”
Crystal finally cracked.
Abandoning all grace, she choked out, “I gave you a marriage, and I can’t even get
one damn answer from you?”
The hand gripping her wrist slowly lost its strength.
Dylan leaned back, his voice completely hollow. “No.”
“I’ve never dated anyone else.”
The answer caught Crystal completely off guard.
The rest of the room was equally stunned.
Someone piped up, “Then what was the deal with you and Bianca Lowell?”
Jude actually knew the truth about those two.
Years ago, he had asked Dylan, and Dylan had sworn he never dated Bianca.
