“Don’t worry! If this actually erases my scar, I won’t just promote it—I’ll fund your brother’s entire supply out of pocket!”

“Wait, is this the same brother who made your bed that day? The crazy handsome one?”

Zara suddenly recalled the gorgeous guy she had spotted in their dorm.

Claire’s brother was criminally attractive.

It was a shame her mood had been so sour about moving into the dorms that she had completely forgotten to stop and appreciate the view.

“Yeah, that’s him.”

Claire nodded.

Zara’s eyes gleamed with interest. “So, is our brother single? Is he taking applications?”

Claire shot her a flat look. “He’s not taking applications. Thanks for asking.”

She absolutely did not want her roommate falling for Owen.

Owen went through girlfriends faster than he changed clothes. If he hooked up with her roommate and things ended badly, how were they supposed to stay friends?

“Fair enough. The hot ones are always taken off the market early,” Zara sighed, shrugging effortlessly.

She didn’t exactly have a shortage of guys chasing her; she had just been throwing it out there.

Skye chimed in. “Claire, your brother really is breathtaking. When I first saw him, I honestly thought he was an A-list actor.”

Too bad guys that gorgeous were never left circulating in the dating pool.

Lex couldn’t relate to the hype over Claire’s brother, but she did think of someone else. “The IMO team leader we went with before, Professor Norris. He’s incredibly good-looking too.”

“Plus, he’s already an associate professor and he’s so young.”

“He just gives off this brilliant, limitless potential vibe.”

Lex normally had zero interest in checking out guys.

But since her roommates were all gossiping, she figured she’d add her two cents to feel included.

Nanette was actually the one who had told her about him.

“Which Professor Norris? Have I seen him?” Skye blinked her wide eyes, instantly intrigued.

“Professor Norris. If you search him online, you should be able to find his photo.” Lex and Nanette had definitely discussed Professor Norris in private.

That was why she was able to pull his name up without hesitating.

Claire just sat in silence, watching them furiously Google her oldest brother and basically drool over his headshots.

“Oh wow, I’d totally go for him too!” Zara inspected the photos, confirming that the professor was indeed hot.

He was clearly a totally different breed of handsome from Claire’s brother.

“Professor Norris gives off this hot, sophisticated villain vibe. He’s so gorgeous.”

“A total hot intellectual!”

Skye nodded vigorously. “I agree, they’re definitely different types. But is it just me, or do they look kind of similar?”

Claire paused. “…Maybe really attractive people just share similar features?”

They might have different parents, but they shared the same grandparents, for crying out loud!

Wasn’t it completely normal for them to look alike?

Skye nodded solemnly. “Beautiful people all look flawlessly alike, while I’m out here being uniquely ugly!”

Claire affectionately swatted her arm. “Stop fishing for compliments, babe. You know you’re gorgeous.”

Skye was the epitome of the sweet, adorable girl-next-door.

She had the kind of face everyone loved instantly.

Regardless of whether guys were into her, every parent absolutely adored her type.

“If I’m gorgeous, then you and our resident heiress are straight-up goddesses.” Skye didn’t think she was beautiful, mainly because she had been praised solely for being “cute” her entire life.

Seeing them playfully bicker over

this, Lex spoke up putting the

Spotlight on herself. Took at me. Do you guys still feel ugly?”

“I’m solidly at the bottom of the dorm’s food chain.”

Lex wasn’t ugly, but she wasn’t stunning either.

Next to the other three, she was definitely just an average girl.

The room fell silent. None of them

knew how to comfort Lex; after aet

you were born with the far face your parents gave you.

Truthfully, Lex wasn’t unattractive, but her background gave her an aura of deep- rooted insecurity.

It made her come across as a bit plain and unpolished.

“Lex, if you want a glow-up, we can totally help you.”
