Knowing Mina’s personality, she normally hated inconveniencing others.

Cami had fully expected to have to talk her into it, but to her surprise, Mina agreed without a second thought.

“I’m Claire,” Claire offered.

“Wait, you two know each other?” Cami hadn’t expected the backup she called to be friends with the girl who had just saved them.

“Of course we do. She’s one of my closest friends.”

Tilda smiled and officially introduced Cami to Claire, explaining that they were cousins.

Once she heard that Claire and Owen had stepped in to help her cousin, Tilda’s warmth doubled.

Right then, Van finally stepped out of the driver’s seat.

Cami actually did want to go back on it, especially now that her backup was here.

But she also knew that Claire’s initial bet had already been brutal enough.
