Chapter 900
Previously, the daughter of the Rose family had one of these sachets. Even though she claimed she wasn’t showing off, hanging it on her purse and casually bringing it up all the time was exactly that showing off.
“I suppose so.” Claire didn’t really know.
Jenny had seen her making the bug-repellent sachets and had a whole batch manufactured.
Of course, Claire hadn’t sewn them herself, but she had formulated the herbal mixture.
Jenny mentioned giving them to customers, and Claire hadn’t paid it much mind.
SUNNY’s clients were big spenders; they wouldn’t necessarily care about a simple sachet.
Claire was wrong about that. If it were just an ordinary sachet, those wealthy heiresses naturally wouldn’t have cared.
But SUNNY’s sachets weren’t just beautiful; they were incredibly effective.
Because they were limited edition and required a minimum spending threshold, they were incredibly popular in their circles.
Rarity equaled luxury, especially in high society.
“I can’t believe you have one. That’s amazing.”
“You must have bought a lot of SUNNY clothes, then?”
“I did buy quite a few,” Claire nodded.
Seeing Yolande’s eyes practically glowing as she stared at the sachet, Claire simply said, “If you want one, it’s easy. I can give you a new one.”
“Really?” Yolande hadn’t expected to get so lucky.
“Do you have more? Aren’t they limited edition?”
“I know Jenny, the manager at SUNNY.”
Claire had originally wanted to say she made them herself, but she changed her phrasing.
“She’s my uncle’s girlfriend.”
Yolande suddenly understood. “Ah, so you’ve got connections! No wonder you can get your hands on so many limited-edition SUNNY pieces.”
Claire stayed quiet for a moment. “Yeah, you could say that. I got them through the back door.”
“I wish I had a back door too,” Yolande said, incredibly envious.
However, even though Claire insisted she didn’t need bug spray or sunscreen, Yolande still dragged her out shopping.
Both girls looked absolutely
stunning with just a bit of effort, and
Seb was a cute teenager full of
youthful energy. The moment they stepped out, they immediately drew everyone’s attention.
Sure enough, they had barely arrived at the pedestrian street when a man approached them for their numbers.
“Hey gorgeous, you two are stunning. Have you ever considered a career in the entertainment industry?”
They had thought it was just a guy hitting on them, but it turned out to be a talent
scout?
Claire kept a straight face while Yolande politely declined. “Sorry, we’re not interested.”
The man didn’t give up. “Don’t be
sa
quick to say no. You both have great figures and beautiful faces. You’d
definitely make it big faster than anyone else.”
“Do you have any favorite celebrities? If you join the industry, you’ll be able to meet your idols up close, plus you’ll make money. What’s not to love?”
“Look, the recent rising stars are all from our agency. My last name is Crawford. You can call me Mr. Crawford if you’d like.”
“We have an idol survival show
coming up. If you two join, as long
as you have a little bit of talent you’ll
completely outshine the other agencies’ artists.” fo FindNovel.net
Mr. Crawford realized he was talking himself hoarse, yet the two beauties remained completely unmoved.
Instead, it was Seb who looked at Mr. Crawford with interest. “Why are you only asking them? Am I not good enough?”
At first, Mr. Crawford had only noticed the two beauties. But when Seb spoke up, he
finally noticed the cute boy with the charming canine teeth.
“Holy crap, kid. If you’re willing to join the industry, I guarantee you’ll be the next superstar!”
Wasn’t this the exact trendy ‘golden retriever boyfriend’ archetype?
With the right marketing, he’d be an absolute magnet for fangirls!
