Chapter 1837
[ 517 words ]
“Wow, I knew you guys looked alike,” Claire said, genuinely surprised.
“If Professor Achilles is your aunt, then Caleb is your cousin?”
Macy blinked, eyeing Claire with a newfound curiosity. “So, do you know my cousin, or my aunt?”
She was starting to suspect this girl had a connection to her cousin. Could this be her future sister-in-law?
But a second later, she dismissed the thought. Her cousin would be robbing the cradle! She had overheard these girls talking earlier they were only freshmen in college!
“Don’t look at me like that. I have a fiancé. I’m not going to be your cousin’s wife,” Claire said, reading Macy’s mind.
Macy instantly looked disappointed.
“What’s your name? Let’s exchange numbers!” Macy insisted as they left the venue, trailing after Claire.
Claire introduced herself and gave Macy her contact info.
Macy still hadn’t given up on her idol. “Keegan is the hardest-working guy I know. He’s definitely going to be famous. If you support him now, you won’t regret it!”
Claire couldn’t help but wonder why this girl was so obsessed. Did students at Cabinda Arts Academy really have this much free time? She didn’t understand fan culture, nor the lengths these fans would go to support their idols.
“How hard does he work?” Claire asked casually. “Harder than that Yorick guy?”
At the mention of Yorick, Macy frowned. “Even if you don’t support Keegan, you definitely shouldn’t support Yorick! He’s a total nepotism baby. He wasn’t even in the original trainee lineup. I stalked the training camp so many times and never saw him once. He definitely used connections to steal someone else’s spot.”
“I hate people like that. If he wanted
to join, he should have signed up from the start, instead of pulling strings at the last minute. Who does he think he is? Because of him
some poor guy who trained for months probably got kicked out.”

“And now he’s trying to steal Keegan’s hardworking’ persona. So what if he works hard? Everyone here works hard!ve never met dancer who doesn’t work hard!”
Macy ranted, her frustration spilling over.
“You really like Keegan, huh? But isn’t he just a regular guy?” Claire found it hard to
understand how Macy could be so infatuated with a rookie idol.
“He’s been posting dance covers online for ages. I actually used his videos to
practice,” Macy explained.
Claire decided to take her word for it. “Alright, if it comes down to a vote, I’ll support your guy.”
She wasn’t about to crush Macy’s enthusiasm.
Macy’s face lit up. “Thank you! Seriously, thank you!”
Claire didn’t know why Macy was so invested, but casting a vote was easy enough.
It wasn’t like she had to campaign for him.
Shirley chimed in with her own
praise. “Keegan’s dancing is great, and he’s, super cute. He has a really sunny smile. Unlike that Yorick

Spoken like a true veteran fan. Shirley could instantly spot when an idol was being
fake, whereas Claire and Sophia couldn’t tell the difference.
“You don’t like Yorick either?” Claire gave Shirley a knowing look. The girl’s taste in men had definitely improved.
Back when she was obsessed with York, her standards had been questionable at best.
Under Claire’s gaze, Shirley thought of York.
