Chapter 103
Chapter 103:
Then he walked around and opened the door for Ava.
Ava began to feel nervous. Stephen grabbed her hand and helped her out of the car.
He shut the door and wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
“You look good. Don’t lose your confidence p>
Ava nodded and exhaled.
As they walked forward, everyone stared at them with jaws dropped.
“Isn’t that Ava, the nerd p>
“Yes p>
“She’s our Gamma’s daughter now p>
Ava heard the whispers around her. A few boys’ voices caught her attention.
“Damn! Just look at her p>
“Now I understand why she was hiding herself p>

She noticed all of his friends sitting at a table.
“Why did you stop? Won’t you have breakfast?†Stephen asked her.
Ava saw Ian turn his head in their direction. The moment he looked at her, she quickly looked away.
“I don’t want to sit at the same table with your friend,†she replied, taking off her sunglasses.
“AVA p>
They heard Debra’s voice. Ava turned around and immediately found herself in Debra’s embrace.

Ava’s eyes widened. Stephen’s reaction wasn’t much different. He had never seen a girl speak so boldly in front of him. He figured it was because he had become too friendly with them. Clearing his throat, he said to Ava,
“Have breakfast with your friend. I’m going to join mine p>
Ava was surprised by his sudden shift in tone.
“Did I say something wrong?†Debra asked, watching Stephen walk away.
Ava laughed, grabbed her hand, and headed to an empty table nearby, ignoring the people around her who were still staring.
Meanwhile, Ian was stunned by Ava’s appearance. He had planned to ignore her ever since the night of her mother’s wedding.
However, his heart no longer obeyed him. He couldn’t tear his eyes away. The way her jeans hugged her waist, accentuating her hips, and the fitted top that revealed the curve of her figure…
