Chapter 29:
Ava had barely been able to study lately. Her wolf was sick, and she was still struggling with the pain from the rejection.
She remembered that the math notebook wasn’t in her bag. “I’ll be right back, guys. My notebook is in the locker,†she said as she stood up.
Her friends nodded, and Ava left the café, heading for the locker room to retrieve her notebook.
But just then, a hand grabbed her wrist.
She froze at the unexpected touch. Looking up, she saw that it was Ian.
Before she could say a word, he pulled her into another hallway, dragging her along with him. “W-Where are you taking me p>
He didn’t respond. Instead, he led her to the faculty area, where all the rooms were locked. But he didn’t enter any of those rooms.
Instead, he pulled her into a storeroom and opened the door.
“What are you—†Ava started, but Ian pulled her closer, making her phone slip from her hand and fall to the ground.
He opened the door, and the darkness of the room immediately caught Ava’s attention. Her eyes widened in fear. She was terrified of the dark.
Ian shoved her into the storeroom, the darkness swallowing her whole. He closed the door behind him with a firm click and stood outside.
“You were bold enough to show your audacity earlier. Now, I want to see how long you can last in here p>

Ava banged on the door for five minutes, but no one responded.
“Please open the door. I didn’t do anything to you. Why are you doing this to me?†she screamed, hoping that even if Ian wouldn’t open the door, someone outside might hear and help her.
However, no one came. She tried to look around, but there wasn’t a single window to let in even a little light. She lifted her hands and fumbled around, searching for a switch, but it was too dark to find anything.
Outside the room, Ian was leaning against the opposite wall, staring at the door. “Weak Omega,†he muttered under his breath.

He heard her screams, but he made no move to open the door. This was her punishment. She needed to understand who she had dared to challenge.
A ringtone played in the hallway. Ian glanced down and saw Ava’s phone on the floor. He picked it up and saw the caller’s name: “ABIGAIL p>
He didn’t answer. Instead, messages began to pop up on the screen after the ringtone stopped.
An idea crossed Ian’s mind. He was surprised to find that this girl hadn’t locked her phone with a password. All he had to do was swipe across the screen.
He read the last message from Abigail: “We’re all waiting for you at the café. Where are you? Why aren’t you answering my calls p>
A smirk tugged at the corner of Ian’s lips as something clicked in his mind. He navigated to the message option and replied to Abigail: “Mom called, so I’m going home. See you tomorrow p>
Abigail responded almost immediately: “We had planned to go to the hospital. What about that p>
