After saying that, Ava headed toward the locker room. As she walked past people, she felt their eyes on her.
She assumed those were mocking gazes because of her overconfidence. She entered the locker room and opened her locker. She set her books down and was about to close it.
But she paused when her phone began to ring.
She saw it was the same number that had sent her messages earlier. She realized it was Ian’s number.
Not wanting to talk to him right now, she declined the call and put her phone in her bag.
Just as she was about to close the locker, a hand came from behind and slammed the door shut.
She flinched in shock but froze when she heard a cold voice behind her.
