Chapter 108
Chapter 108:
“As you know, our pack has no witches, so we lack cures for many mysterious illnesses,†Angela explained. “Alpha Martin is arranging to bring in a few witches from another pack’s coven in the near future p>
Hearing Angela’s news, Ava and her friends froze. Witches living with them? How would that even work? Evening came, and Abigail and Debra asked their drivers to bring their party outfits to Ava’s house.
“Wait,†Ava said. “Try on some of my clothes—you know I have plenty of new designer pieces p>
Abigail and Debra exchanged excited looks and headed to Ava’s closet. The shelves and racks of beautifully arranged dresses left them speechless. They chose the perfect outfit for Ava first.
“It’s your parents’ celebration,†Abigail reminded her. “We have to get you ready p>
They picked a violet, knee-length sleeveless dress. Ava slipped into it while her friends styled her hair and applied her makeup. When they finished, she studied her reflection—a soft wave of hair framing her face, black heels to match the dress—and smiled at their handiwork.
Abigail and Debra completed their own looks, and the three of them set out for the party venue. Forty minutes later, they arrived at one of Gamma Harper’s villas, transformed tonight into a celebration hall for his son’s gathering.
“Let’s blow their minds,†Debra whispered as they stepped inside.
Moving through the crowd, Ava felt too noticed—boys leaned in too close, their gazes obvious. She tried to keep pace with her friends. Abigail paused when she spotted Stephen.
“Want to say hello to your brother, the host?†she asked.
Ava turned and waved as Stephen caught her eye. She smiled—and then froze. Behind him, Ian sat with another girl perched on his lap, her arms wrapped around his neck. He smirked at her, then looked up at Ava. Their eyes met across the room.
Ian looked at Ava when the girl told him that Stephen’s sister had come to the party.
He was completely blown away by Ava’s stunning look. It was difficult for him to tear his eyes away from her because she had such an alluring appearance.

He saw Ava quickly avert her gaze from him.
“Ian,†the girl said when she noticed he was staring at Ava.
“Hmm p>
“Will you spend your night with me?†she asked seductively, rubbing her hands over his abs through his half-sleeved black t-shirt.
Ian felt nothing from her touch—not even from the way she was sitting on his lap. It was as if his mind was somewhere else. No matter how hard he tried to divert his attention, his thoughts kept returning to a particular girl he had rejected.
“Let’s see how much you can seduce me,†he said with a wink.
A blush appeared on her face, and she began kissing his neck.
Despite her efforts, Ian’s eyes remained fixed on Ava.
He watched her engaging in conversation with other people, appearing lighthearted, as if she didn’t care that he was with someone else.
His brows arched when he saw a boy approaching her. The boy reached out, and she shook his hand, then began speaking to him as though they were already well acquainted.
