Chapter 150
Chapter 150:
As Ian approached Stephen, a boy standing behind Stephen lunged forward and punched Ian in the stomach.
Ava gasped. Her heart pounded — she couldn’t bear to see Ian in pain.
One of the boys spoke with an aggressive tone, “Stop messing with us. Thunder Howl Pack won’t let others come into our territory. We never stopped you from entering, so why did your friend interfere with our business here p>
Ronald, who had been leaning against a wall, straightened up after hearing this. He walked toward Ian and said,
“Ian, let’s handle this calmly. But first p>
Ronald paused and turned to the boy who had just spoken.
“Before that, let me return the favor p>
After saying that, Ronald punched the boy in the cheek, breaking his cheekbone. The boy tried to retaliate but couldn’t manage it, as Ian immediately punched him in the stomach, causing him to bleed from the mouth.
“A punch should be strong enough to make you bleed. Yours was the punch of a child,†Ian said, standing tall as if he hadn’t been hurt moments ago.
The other boys rushed to attack them, but soon they began fighting among themselves.
Ava dashed over to Stephen to untie the rope binding his hands. However, as soon as she touched it, she hissed in pain.
“It’s damp with silver water. Don’t touch it, Ava,†Stephen warned.
Ava shook her head. “No. It must hurt. Let me help you p>
“No, Ava p>
Ignoring Stephen’s warning, Ava continued trying to free him. She felt a burning sensation in her hands but showed courage and untied the rope.
The moment it came loose, Stephen turned to her and asked,
“Are you okay? Why are you here p>

“I’m here for you, Steph. What happened? Who are these people? And why did they tie you up p>
She was so confused she fired off a barrage of questions.
Stephen took her hand but didn’t notice her burned skin. She bit her bottom lip to suppress a moan of pain. Stephen quickly hid her behind a pillar.
“They’ll try to attack you. Stay behind this, okay p>
Ava nodded and glanced toward the others fighting.
Filled with rage, Stephen stormed toward the boys.
Ava’s gaze followed Ian, who looked fiercer than ever. She felt a flicker of fear in her heart at the sight of him — he looked truly dangerous.
“Did your Alpha send you all here to do this?†Ian demanded.
Stephen shouted while kicking a boy, “Ian, they wanted to supply those things to our varsity. We need to teach them a lesson p>
Ava didn’t fully understand what they were talking about, only thinking those boys were selling something among the students.
When Ian knocked a boy to the floor, he grabbed his hair and asked,
“How many boys did you sell them to? I’ll break your bones based on that number p>
When the boy refused to answer, Ian stood up and kicked the boy’s legs. Ava covered her ears, on the verge of tears. She hated violence. She was a kind-hearted girl who preferred a quiet life.
