Chapter 123
Chapter 123:
One of them quickly approached. “Yes p>
Ian turned to the driver and said,
“He’ll pay for me p>
With that, he got off the bus and hurried after Ava.
David and his friends were stunned.
“Ian Dawson, the son of the future Alpha, not only riding a bus but also out of money p>
They whispered among themselves, clearly surprised. They glanced out the window and watched Ian as he followed Ava, exchanging confused looks with each other.
The bus started moving again, their view of Ian fading as it picked up speed.
Meanwhile, Ian slowed down and called out,
“Ava, wait p>
Ava heard Ian’s voice and stopped in her tracks. She frowned when she realized he was following her. But why?
Last night, she had been really upset with herself, but she tried to move on, telling herself that she had warned Ian enough. Still, running into Ian again today took her by surprise. She would be lying if she said she wasn’t shocked to see him on the bus.
She had been riding buses for a long time, but she had never seen him on one, even though her route was only a few stops further than his house. Today, she just wanted to take the bus, even though her parents had told her to use one of the cars. She wanted to experience her old life again, where no one knew her and she could live freely, without expectations.
Now, though, everyone knew she was the Gamma’s new daughter, and people gossiped about her constantly.
“Why did you get off the bus?†Ian called out again.
She turned around and looked at him.
“Are you following me p>
Your source:
Ian walked closer, causing her to take a step back. Noticing her reaction, he said,
“Why so scared? I haven’t done anything to you yet,†he muttered, a smirk on his lips.
Her brows shot up in shock. His words made her nervous, instantly reminding her of what happened last night. Just thinking about how he got close and kissed her neck sent a shiver through her body.
“Stop following me,†she said, turning away from him and heading off in her original direction.
The reason she left the bus was because she didn’t want to be around him any longer. But it seemed this was turning into a bad morning, with Ian Dawson refusing to leave her alone and continuing to bother her.
“Where are you heading?†he asked, walking beside her.
Ava chose to ignore him, having no interest in conversation. After a while, she reached a nearby bus stop and sat down on a bench.
When Ian sat next to her, she took a deep breath, visibly frustrated.
She glared at him and asked,
“What do you want p>
He folded his arms and replied,
“I guess you think you’re above everyone now. Don’t get too full of yourself just because you’re Stephen’s sister p>
