Chapter 209
Chapter 209:
“What!†Abigail exclaimed, shocked.
Ava gulped and lowered her head. Seeing her reaction, Debra smirked.
“Well, well. I guessed right p>
Abigail shook her head. “Ava, say something p>
Ava lifted her gaze to her friends. After a moment of hesitation, she decided to tell them everything.
Abigail and Debra’s eyes widened as she explained how Ian had healed her wounds.
“Oh my God! I love it,†Debra said, clapping her hands.
Abigail seemed stunned. Even though Ian had a bad reputation, the way he healed her was, in her eyes, hotter than making out. “How did he even control himself?†Abigail wondered.
Ava frowned. “W-What are you saying p>
Abigail giggled softly. “You look so hot. Any guy would have lost control being that close to you p>
Ava’s heart skipped a beat, remembering that Ian had said something similar to her. But he had been drunk, so maybe it didn’t mean anything.
“And then?†Debra asked, resting her chin on her palm.
Sitting at the bar, the three friends enjoyed their beers together.
The club grew chaotic and loud as the DJ started playing dance music for midnight. People rushed to the dance floor, moving wildly to the beat. Others made their way to the dining area, where Ronald ensured everyone had food. With all the excitement, most guests had forgotten to eat.
Other than drinks, they decided it was finally time to have some food. Many students, however, were lying around drunk.
Ava’s gaze wandered to the dance floor, where she saw couples making out as they danced. Her face turned red as she remembered Ian kissing her earlier.
“We’re waiting, babe p>

Ava heard Debra and turned her attention back to her friends. She cleared her throat, thinking about how to explain what Ian had told her.
“He what?†Abigail asked.
Avoiding their eyes, Ava said, “He helped me get my wolf back p>
Abigail’s eyes widened. “You mean your wolf is back p>
Ava nodded. Abigail’s face lit up as she hugged her. “My baby, I’m so happy for you p>
Debra looked confused. “Wait a minute. What did I miss p>
Abigail explained what had happened with Ava’s wolf and how even her uncle hadn’t been able to help.
“So, he was the one who hurt her, and now he’s the one who fixed everything?†Debra asked.
Abigail had never liked Ian, but after learning that he had rescued Ava’s wolf, even she started to soften toward him. “And? You still haven’t told us what he said to you p>
Ava took a breath and mumbled, “He told me that he loves me p>
“WHAT p>
Both Abigail and Debra shouted, jumping up from their stools. Ava understood their reaction—she had felt the same shock when she heard it.
“Ian Dawson said he loves you? I mean, is he even capable of loving someone?†Debra asked, glancing over at Ian.
