However, something caught her nose—it was Ian’s scent. She slowly opened her eyes and sniffed the blanket. Her eyes widened when she realized Ian’s scent was all over it.
She sat up in bed and looked around. She was alone in the bedroom.
Lowering her head, she was startled to find herself wearing pajamas.
“I clearly remember I wasn’t wearing these before going to bed,†she murmured in shock.
She tried to recall everything from the previous night. She remembered Stephen coming into her room, his words, his friends’ comments, and Ian’s presence. She scratched her head, realizing she had misunderstood Ian, and he had misunderstood her about Luke.
