Well, I honestly didn’t expect her to give in so quickly.
But she did.
And it was a beautiful sight to see.
Elgin, who had been claiming one victory after another, now stood there looking like a fool.
He had made such bold claims, yet his own mate was standing in front of everyone, admitting that she had only accepted him to secure everything for me.
So I decided to play both of them because they had played me first.
“Well, it doesn’t change anything,” Elgin said, trying to sound confident as he fought to save face.
“It changes everything,” I replied, watching him turn to me.
“If Kaylee wants to come back to me, then I’m ready to accept her. Because I love her too.”
Kaylee’s eyes filled with devotion and hope.
“Really?” she asked, reaching toward me.
I nodded without hesitation.
“After everything, I realized I was happier when I was with you.”
It was an obvious lie.
I simply wanted to turn their game against them.
Since everything was being recorded, this was my chance to save my reputation, expose everyone around me, and walk away as the winner.
“Well, you can’t do that. She’s marked by me now,” Elgin shouted.
He reached for Kaylee’s hand, but she slapped it away, shocking him. Then she moved closer to me instead.
The message was unmistakable.
She was choosing me over him, even after he had proudly declared to everyone that he would become the Alpha King.
“I don’t fucking care!” Kaylee shouted. “I don’t want you. You’re cold.”
She turned to me, silently asking for my acceptance.
“You mean nothing,” she murmured to Elgin as she straightened her back and stood beside me.
“I, Kaylee, reject the cold, selfish, and cruel Alpha Elgin. You didn’t even fucking
care about your own daughter. Stop looking at me like you’re shocked. You brought this on yourself.”
Her rejection echoed across the gathering.
Everyone watched in silence, yet no one seemed angry.
If anything, they looked even more entertained than before.
“Did he just get rejected?” someone in the crowd asked, barely holding back their laughter.
I knew everything had turned into a complete shitshow.
But Elgin wanted drama, and now he was getting all of it.
Every bit of attention was on him.
He really thought he would come out as the winner.
Little did he know, I had already secured an even bigger victory.
Madeline was on my side.
“I can’t believe this.”
Elgin took a deep breath, then looked up.
His eyes were red with anger and unshed tears.
“I, Alpha King Elgin, accept your rejection and reject you back, you fucking slut!” he shouted.
The crowd gasped at his choice of words.
The calm, composed Elgin, whom
his mother had always claimed was love and respect women,

He looked around, sighed, then ran a hand over his face and through his hair.
“You know what? It doesn’t matter. I
have another Luna waiting for me,
and she’s better than all of you,”
Elgin growled, his body trembling with anger, humiliation, and disappointment.
“Stop pointing that fucking camera at me!” he yelled at the reporter standing nearby. Kaylee was done with him.
She turned to me and smiled.
“I-I can’t believe we’re back together. You have no idea how much I’ve missed you.”
She stepped toward me and tried to wrap her arms around me.
I tried to step back, but she was as forceful as ever and threw her arms around me anyway.
Then something appeared on the giant screen.
I felt her arms slowly loosen around me.
It was her video.
She was lying on the bed, her mouth open and her tongue out, as Elgin ejaculated
into her mouth.
“Oops. I swear, I didn’t think that would be the video.”
Then a voice cut through the silence.
Everyone turned to look as Mathew walked onto the stage.
Kaylee immediately pulled away from me, her eyes fixed on the floor. She

do it,” Kaylee cried, turning back to me.
She probably thought that short clip was all we had.
It wasn’t.
We had the rest of the video, but that was Elgin’s confession, and we were saving it
for later.
For now, I had another gift for her.
“Really? Then how do you explain this video?” I asked.
The color drained from her face.
Every eye turned to the screen.
Penny’s recorded confession began to play, revealing that Kaylee was the one who
had pushed her down the stairs.
