A moment later, Sean’s fingers touched the door handle. He hugged Angeline tightly and pushed the car door open with his foot before walking from the garage to the door connecting to the house, heading to the second floor.
“You… you’re injured!” she blurted, not forgetting what happened at the old Lawson residence earlier when Robert’s cane vigorously struck him.
“I’m fine!”
Angeline embraced his neck and looked up to meet his gaze. Right at that moment, she understood the intense and fervent desire in his eyes, her ruby lips being kissed again.
Sinking into the soft bed, she propped herself up with one hand and hooked Sean’s neck with the other, pulling the man who had just taken off his suit jacket down with her.
Even though he had kissed her and claimed her as his countless times, Sean still felt that it wasn’t enough. He didn’t think it’d be ever enough.
He didn’t know when he had become so insatiable.
Sean held Angeline in his arms as he watched her sleeping. He lowered his head and couldn’t help but kiss her lips again.
“Mmm…”
Exhausted, she let out a moan and responded to his kiss before she even managed to open her eyes.
“I’m exhausted…” she said wearily.
“Let me rest for a while.”
However, Sean leaned over, pinned her hands over her head, kissed her lips, and said, “You don’t need to worry about me while you sleep…”
The temperature inside the room gradually rose until it eventually ignited into a blaze.

It had only been a few days since Angeline and Sean entered Lawson Group. Neither went to the company on this day because they were working from home.
Angeline eventually feared being alone with Sean at home, as their hot kisses, anytime and anywhere, could turn into a passionate wrestle in bed.
The two of them hadn’t even been able to sit down and discuss about their future. It wasn’t until Angeline’s assistant, Jamie, called to say that Scott Incorporated had sent over a proposal, offering only 20% of the profit to Lawson Global in one of their projects.
“First, leak this news to Ms. Lara’s assistant. Tell her I want half with no room for negotiation, then tell her about my schedule this afternoon.”
Angeline checked her watch and added, “I’m free from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.”
“Understood.”
After hanging up the phone, Angeline browsed through the proposal sent by Scott Incorporated on her laptop while also calling Sandy to inquire about Robert’s condition.
Upon learning that his blood pressure was normal this morning and that he had eaten breakfast but was still in a bad mood, she said, “Sandy, please keep an eye on Granddad. If he feels uncomfortable, call me immediately.”
Robert probably didn’t want to answer her calls right now.
“Don’t worry,” Sandy said with her voice lowered.
“You focus on your work and don’t worry. Ms. Lawson and the two children will be back this afternoon. No matter how angry Mr. Lawson Seniors, as soon as those two kids sit in his lap, all is anger dissipates. Especially our Yasmine. She can soothe anyone with that little mouth of hers!”
Angeline felt slightly relieved after hearing Sandy’s words.
After hanging up, she glanced at Sean, who was making a phone call by the floor- to-ceiling window. She then got up to make coffee.
She had barely slept since returning from the old Lawson residence yesterday.
Now, her body was so sore from excessive activity that she could barely keep her eyes open. Leaning on the kitchen counter, she felt she could fall asleep while waiting for the coffee.
