Amara nodded, and a bad feeling crept over her as she had a sudden thought.
Sure enough, Edith continued, “Twenty-five is a perfect age. You two will get married soon, so you’ll be twenty-six next year. You can start preparing for a baby p>
“You should have two children. When they grow up, one can take over the Sullivan Group, and the other can take over the WestWinter Group. We’ll start training them in business management from a young age p>
“You don’t need to have more than two. Too many children will affect both your health and your career. Besides, if you have three, it will be difficult to divide the inheritance. For a couple in your situation, two is just right p>

more about your future, and about your parents? Stop being so selfish p>
Keith looked like he was about to breathe fire, and Amara secretly frowned.
Was Edith always this overbearing? Living with someone like her must be suffocating. No wonder Keith had plunged into the entertainment world right after graduation, with no desire to join the family business.
With everything planned out, from how many children to have to what those children would do, if he had joined the family company, he would have spent his fe just listening to others, with no chance to live for himself.

Amara excused herself to go to the restroom.
Her eyes had truly been opened today. She never imagined Keith’s parents would be so bizarre.
Although Nathan hadn’t said a word the whole time, his expression clearly showed he agreed with Edith.
No wonder Keith was always the one who came to her house to play when they were kids. Whenever she suggested going to his place, he would adamantly refuse.
