Finnian took a long look at her gentle profile, his heart aching. He didn’t want to push her, so he reluctantly turned away.
Over the past few days, Amara had been experiencing more frequent bouts of morning sickness. Every couple of days, she’d find herself rushing to the bathroom.
She had joined an online group for expectant mothers and, after chatting with others, realized she was actually one of the lucky ones. Some women seemed to throw up everything they ate, only to be hungry again and start the cycle over, a miserable experience.

I thought he’d mellow out a bit after getting married, especially since this kind of thing reflects poorly on the Hawke family.
