With each word Amara spoke, Amelia’s anxiety grew, anger blazing in her eyes. She leaned in close to Elowen, whispering harshly, “What’s with your sister? Did her divorce make her this brazen p>

Their words barely settled before the two were laughing together again, leaving Amara clenching her fists slowly.
Though she had told herself countless times not to engage with airheads, she couldn’t help but feel the sting of their words.
