With filming for Letters from Yesterday set to begin in a week, Amara was still deciding whether she would stay with the crew during production. For now, she planned to move back into the house she and Finnian had once shared as a married couple.

She didn’t hesitate—Amara wanted to move out today and bring all her belongings with her at once. If she kept coming back to pick up things, there was a real chance she’d run into Finnian, and right now, she truly didn’t want to see him.

Tina noticed Amara busily packing and walked over. “Ms. Sullivan, are you moving out?”

Amara nodded.

Although a few things Tina had said had changed the course of her life recently, Amara didn’t hold it against the young woman. In fact, she felt a certain warmth toward Tina—maybe because Tina reminded her of her own younger self.

“I’m moving back to my old place,” Amara said.

After thinking for a moment, Tina offered, “I’ve finished all my work for the day, Ms. Sullivan. Let me help you pack and move. It’s not convenient to do this on your own, especially since you’re pregnant.”

Amara was about to explain that Mr. Kevin Everly had already arranged for two drivers to help, but Tina continued, “There are some things a woman is just better at —like folding clothes and organizing personal items. Men never do that sort of thing properly.”

“You really shouldn’t do this alone while you’re pregnant. Let me help you.”

With that, Tina began pitching in.

Tina worked quickly and efficiently. Together, she and Amara managed to pack everything neatly into boxes, with Tina even sharing tricks for arranging items to save space.

Seeing how capable Tina was, Amara gratefully let her continue helping. To thank Tina, she insisted on treating her to dinner that evening.

Before long, Amara and Tina arrived at the villa with all of Amara’s things. Amara dismissed the Everly family’s drivers and invited Tina to stay for dinner.

Wanting to show her appreciation, Amara decided to cook dinner herself. When Tina realized this, she was flustered, insisting that as the housekeeper it should be herjob to Cook for Amara, not the other way around.

Amara just smiled and said, “You work for the Everly family, not for me. Here, you’re

my friend. So just relax and let me cook for you.”

Tina was genuinely touched, but she

couldn’t quite bring herself to site around and do nothing. Not being very handy in the kitchen, she decided instead to tidy up the house so she wouldn’t get in Amara’s way.

She was an excellent housekeeper—within just over an hour, she had the entire three-story villa cleaned from top to bottom.

When she returned, Tina said, “Ms. Sullivan, I take it you used to hire a cleaning service? Why not let me be your cleaner from now on? I can comeon Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays or whenever you need me. Just call and I’ll be here.

Tina truly liked Amara and hadn’t expected someone so kind would personally cook

for her. She wanted to do what she could in return.

Amara thought it over. She did need someone trustworthy to help around the house, and Tina was hard-working, efficient, and someone she already knew well. Amara would feel completely at ease with her in the home.

“That schedule works,” Amara agreed. “Come by three times a week to help me clean up. I’ll make sure you’re paid for your work.”
