His voice, already low and rich, sounded even more magnetic in the quiet of night, sending a gentle shiver down her spine. “Then, I’ll make you fall in love with me all over again.”

After saying this, he straightened up and left through the front door.

Amara’s gaze wavered. What gave Finnian such confidence to claim she would fall for him again? She also found his words somewhat amusing.

The truth was, she hadn’t completely forgotten Finnian. She still liked him, at least a little. If that was the case, was it really about falling for him “again”?

Either way, she wasn’t going to get back together with Finnian. There was no point getting tangled up in these thoughts. She shook her head, lay back on the bed, and went to sleep.

The next morning, after getting up, Amara met Elysia for breakfast and told her about Finnian’s visit the day before.

She repeated Finnian’s words to Elysia, who rested her chin thoughtfully on her hand. “Honestly, I don’t think it matters either way if you get back together with Finnian or not.”

“I used to really dislike Finnian. I thought he treated you terribly-he seriously wasn’t a good guy.”

“But now, my view of him has changed a bit. Do you remember when you were kidnapped by Emma, ran into the woods, and Finnian came to your rescue?”

“I do,” Amara nodded. “How could I forget something like that?”

In the end, it had been Finnian who found her that day.

She had run to the edge of a steep slope, slipped down, and twisted her ankle.

If Finnian hadn’t found her, honestly, she could have died there and no one would have known.

Elysia continued, “The day you went missing, Finnian was the first person I thought of for help.”

“For some reason, even though I thought Finnian was in love with Liliana, just felt that if he knew you were in trouble he’d do everything he could to save you. And that’s what he did he didn’t let me down.”

“When he learned you were missing, he was truly frantic and tried everything to find you—and he did. I’ll never forget the look in his eyes when he realized you were gone.”

“Now that the truth is out, we know nothing ever happened between him and Liliana.”

“Honestly, believe Finnian never really liked Liliana. He’s not the type to lie about that kind of thing. When I think about it like this, can see he has his good points:

Elysia paused to sip her juice, then added, “Of course, what matters most is how you feel.”

After returning home, Amara quickly skimmed through the script of Letters from Yesterday, checking to see if anything needed revision.
