Meanwhile, Amara had been visiting Mr. Kevin Everly. She spent half the day at the Everly household until she got a call from Elysia inviting her out for dinner. She left and drove to a cozy restaurant on Galleria Lane.
As she stepped inside, Amara noticed that it wasn’t just Elysia waiting there, but Lucian Hale too. Curious, she asked, “How did you two end up here together p>
Lucian was the second male lead in “Whispers of Winter” and had always gotten along well with Amara, but he had only met Elysia once briefly in Amara’s dressing
room.
Yet, here they were, chatting away like old friends. It was puzzling to Amara.
Elysia was outgoing and lively, always ready with a smile or a laugh, while Lucian was known for his cool and distant demeanor. However, when talking to Elysia, he seemed fully engaged, his expression serious and attentive. This level of interaction was rare for him, and Amara’s curiosity was piqued.
“I ran into him at an event today,” Elysia explained. “I remembered hearing about his breakup, so I got a little nosy and asked him about it. We ended up chatting, and after the event, we decided to grab a bite together p>
Amara knew the event Elysia was talking about. Elysia was the organizer, and Lucian was invited as a spokesperson, so it wasn’t too surprising they had crossed paths.
Elysia wasn’t particularly nosy but was friendly enough to strike up conversations with acquaintances. Amara took a seat and asked, “Have you ordered yet? If not, let’s get to it. I’m starving p>
Mr. Kevin Everly had wanted her to stay for dinner, but she had declined, fearing she might run into Emma. Elysia’s call had provided the perfect escape.
“We haven’t ordered, waiting for you,” Elysia said, handing the menu over. Amara selected a couple of her favorite dishes and asked Elysia and Lucian, “What do you want to eat p>
“Whatever you pick is fine,” they both replied.

They ordered seven or eight dishes in total, chatting and waiting as the food was brought to their table.
As they ate, Amara couldn’t help but notice something strange about the dynamic between Elysia and Lucian. It was as if Elysia was playfully teasing Lucian, almost like one might with a child, yet not quite the same. She made him blush several times. s
Then, Lucian Seemed to gain some confidence, turning the tables and admonishing Elysia about her drinking, “You should ease up on the wine, it’s not good for you,” he said, all serious and proper, which made Amara chuckle. s
