Amara sat quietly, giving the impression that she was minding her own business, but in reality, she was keeping a close eye on Finnian from the corner of her eye.

She noticed ever since that incident at the club, things between her and Finnian had shifted significantly.

In three years of marriage, they had only seen each other twice. Ironically, their relationship took a turn for the better once they decided to divorce.

Finnian could be intimidating when angry, and Celeste immediately straightened up, replying, “Nothing, I was just asking. I just thought it might make her sad if you ignore her”
