“Dorian, thank you so much for today. I really loved the birthday party. You’re so good to me,” Jessica said with a warm smile.
Dorian took the cake from her, nodding slightly. He appeared nonchalant, but every detail of the party reflected his care for Jessica.
Around them, the guests chimed in with compliments. “Indeed, Mr. Hawke treats Jessica so well. It’s rare to see such devotion.” One of the guests was suddenly interrupted by a sharp nudge from his wife.
She shot him a warning glance, subtly pointing towards Elysia, who was standing nearby. Realizing his faux pas, the guest’s face turned pale; he had inadvertently insulted Elysia, who hailed from the influential Moon family, nearly as powerful as the Hawkes. He quickly retreated, falling silent.
Seeing Dorian had taken the cake, Jessica poured a glass of wine and approached Elysia. “Ms. Moon, thank you for attending my birthday party. I truly didn’t expect you’d come p>
Jessica’s words dripped with sweetness, her smile serene, but her eyes danced with challenge. Even Amara, standing beside Elysia, felt her anger rising.
Elysia, known for her fiery temper, couldn’t let Jessica’s provocation slide. With a swift motion, she knocked over the wine glass, the cold liquid splattering onto Jessica’s pristine dress, prompting a startled scream.

“Apologize to Jessica and then leave,” Dorian commanded, striding over with an aura of icy anger.
Dorian, usually laid-back and charming, was now visibly furious, his demeanor more intimidating than ever.

“Who are you calling mad?” Elysia yelled, raising her hand to slap Dorian.
“No-” Jessica cried out, rushing to shield Dorian.

Elysia watched them, her eyes dark with rage. She couldn’t hold back any longer Grabbing a nearby bottle, she charged, shouting, “How dare you flaunt this in front of me? You’re both going to get it!” And with that, she launched into a furious attack on the pair, no longer caring about the consequences.
