Chapter 669
Chapter 669:
Her words dripped with accusation, hinting that Millie and Evans Entertainment were behind it.
But Eva kept laughing.
She then said, “It’s neither. It’s because…”
The phone camera slowly shifted, revealing a flowing dress.
Brandon, watching the screen, stared at the familiar figure.
The camera lifted, showing a slender neck, and then red lips. “Because I am…” Millie’s face came into view. “Millie Bennett.” The crowd erupted in shock.
The venue buzzed with noise, and the Internet lit up with chaos.
“What? Eva is Millie?”
“No way! That can’t be true!”
“Oh my god! If Eva really is Millie, then everything Vivian said…”
Brandon threw open the car door and stepped out, eyes locked on the live stream.
On stage, Vivian was frozen, forgetting to fake her tears as her mind scrambled for a way out.
Millie looked calmly into the camera.
She said softly, “Vivian, you said we were close friends. That we went through hardships together?”
Her words crashed over the audience like thunder, sending both the crowd and online viewers into a frenzy.
The chat exploded, and the venue swelled with chatter.
“What do you want me to say?” Millie’s expression stayed composed, almost mesmerizing. “That we were friends but I betrayed you? That I bowed to pressure from myself and Charles to steal your song and claim the copyright?”
“Vivian, do you even hear yourself?”
She held Vivian’s gaze through the camera.

She understood every move Vivian had made. But no matter how carefully a lie was built, it was still a lie.
Eyes turned toward Vivian, murmurs rising around her.
Vivian stepped back, shaking her head. “No! You’re not Eva! Millie, why are you pretending?”
Her voice rose to a scream. “What did you do to her?” Millie only chuckled.
“If I’m not Eva, then who is?” she asked. “Your live stream has everyone watching. If I were just an impostor, why hasn’t the real Eva appeared to call me out?”
She gave a small laugh and pulled out another phone. As she unlocked it, she said, “Vivian, didn’t you claim to be her close friend for the longest time? You must have photos of her then, or of you two together.”
Turning to the camera, she added, “Show them. Prove Eva is someone else.” Vivian’s mind scrambled. She had indeed met Eva several times—but the first time, Eva wore sunglasses, a mask, and a cap. The second time, she was in a frog mascot costume. The last time, she was hidden under heavy makeup and a costume. Her voice had always been low and hoarse. ᴛʜɪs ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ɪs ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ ʙʏ ͟.net
Vivian stared at the screen, a chill running through her.
Could it be…?
Could Eva really be Millie?
