Chapter 730
Chapter 730:
For years he had guarded the secret.
The real reason Vivian had gone there that day.
And all of it pointed back to Hayden.
“Back then, the thing you had—who else did you hand it to?” Brandon finally asked after what seemed to be an eternity.
Hayden paused briefly to catch on to what Brandon meant. And then it hit him.
He broke into a fit of laughter.
“So, you’ve figured it out at last! How many are out there already? Does everyone now see them, too? Is Millie losing her mind yet? Hahaha p>
Brandon ground his teeth together, his fist crashing down on the table with a thunderous thud.
But Hayden didn’t flinch. He grinned viciously, his teeth bared. “Hahaha! You tricked me back then, Brandon, and I tricked you right back!” He laughed on, the sound grating and mocking. “Did you really think keeping those things meant I never shared them with others? I can’t tell if you’re grasping at lies or just too foolish to see the truth p>
Hayden’s grin stretched wide, predatory, his teeth glinting like a beast hungry for blood.
“That day, when you knelt before me and begged me to let her go, I did hesitate—even just for a moment. If I’d known you were only buying time, I wouldn’t have just stomped your head into the dirt. I’d have ruined her right then.” Hayden howled with laughter, pounding the table until it rattled.
“I’ve dreamed of this moment for years!” Hayden shouted maniacally. “To watch you realize that the secret you clung to so desperately was already out, passed along to someone else. And now, finally, that day is here! Tell me, Brandon, what’s the world like out there now p>
“Shut your mouth!” Brandon barked.
Hayden kept laughing, fueling Brandon’s rage until it threatened to explode. If it hadn’t been for Hayden—if not for that cursed secret—everything would have been different.

Brandon shuddered with fury.
The hatred he felt right now was almost palpable.
Every part of him ached to tear Hayden apart with his own hands.
Everything changed that day.
Years ago, on that fateful day, when Brandon rushed to Millie, she had already collapsed. The one waiting for him wasn’t her—it was Hayden. Hayden stood beside her, phone in hand, a faint smirk on his face.
“Hayden, I’ve warned you!” Brandon’s voice thundered.
Hayden only smiled, just as he did now, laughing inside that prison cell.
Back then, he held out his phone to Brandon, flipping through a series of photos. “Did you think I only hit her? Brandon, have you ever wondered what went through my mind when Nicole married me and brought Millie into my home p>
That disgusting grin was still etched in Brandon’s memory.
“Millie avoided me like the plague. If I was home, she wouldn’t even go to the bathroom. Every day, she checked her room like a hawk. But…” Hayden’s lips curled into a sneer. “Living under the same roof for so long—did you think I wouldn’t catch anything p>
