Chapter 911
Chapter 911:
The silence pressed down on them, thick and suffocating.
Millie’s jaw tightened. Her reddened eyes locked onto Brandon.
“Now hand over Vivian,” she demanded. “If there’s any decency left in you, stop protecting her p>
Brandon studied her unyielding expression. Words would mean nothing now.
The only way forward was action.
Anything else would have to wait until the matter was resolved.
He lowered his gaze, picked up his phone, and dialed Eugene.
After two rings, the line clicked open. “Where is she?” Brandon asked.
Eugene’s voice crackled with tension.
“Vivian’s missing. I’ve sealed all exits from the Watson Group building, and we’re reviewing the surveillance footage.” Even as he spoke, he was reviewing the security footage with his assistant.
With the speakerphone on, Millie heard every word.
She immediately stood up, her heart pounding.
Did Brandon deliberately let Vivian escape? Was this another ploy to protect her?
She could no longer trust him.
She had to find Vivian, no matter what.
Without another word, she stormed out.
Brandon reached out instinctively, but she wrenched her hand free.
His wheelchair jolted under the sudden movement. By the time he steadied himself, Millie was already at the door.
Myron was waiting outside. He stepped immediately to her side.

“Myron, are your subordinates available?” she asked, her voice fierce.
Myron smiled faintly. “For you? Always p>
“Good. I must find Vivian—no matter the cost p>
As for Brandon, she would deal with him after she settled things with Vivian.
“As you wish.” Myron picked up his phone and began issuing orders without hesitation.
From inside the conference room, Brandon watched, his chest tightening with jealousy.
He too had people he could command and resources he could summon.
Yet Millie turned only to Myron.
He opened his mouth to call after her, but she was already gone.
Barbara appeared, blocking his path.
“Brandon, you really are useless!” she sneered. “You can’t even keep track of someone in your own building. Or was that your plan all along?” With a disdainful glance, she turned away.
Left alone, Brandon’s hands trembled on the armrests of his chair. His anger burned into hatred.
“Vivian!” Brandon gritted his teeth as he uttered her name. He’d find her. And he’d make her regret ever defying him.
Meanwhile, Vivian had seized her chance the moment Brandon turned his attention to Millie.
