There had been all those times he’d intercepted her in public places, the terrifying incident when he’d taken her right from Ari’s kindergarten, and his attempt to force himself on her. The pattern of abuse just kept continuing. Now, even knowing that she had blocked his original phone number, he had gotten a new one just to send her messages.
Just for her company’s opening event, he had already approached her twice. After she had clearly rejected his advances both times, he had still found a way to contact her a third time with that message she’d received right before the banquet started.
The decision to announce her wedding date tonight had been made many days in advance. It would not change regardless of whether Brandon showed up or stayed away.
