Chapter 845

There was a lot to deal with at InnovaTech, and by the time Wynn finally finished, it was already past three in the afternoon.

After thinking for a while, she decided to call Jacob again.

When Jacob saw her name on his phone, he hesitated for a moment before answering. “Ms. Locket.”

“Is Trevor at the company?”

There was a brief pause. “I’m sorry, but I’m afraid I can’t tell you.”

Wynn understood that it meant he was there. If he hadn’t been, Jacob would have simply told her so. “I understand. Thank you.”

After hanging up, she grabbed her car keys and left the company. It wasn’t long before she arrived at the entrance of Fleming Group.

She looked up at the building and sat in the car for a while. Then she finally opened the door and got out after putting on a mask.

There weren’t many people around the entrance at this hour. However, the receptionist recognised her immediately, although she was wearing a mask.

In the past, Wynn had never worn a mask when she came to Fleming Group. They all understood why she was wearing one now. She was afraid of being recognized.

The fact that she was still allowed into Fleming Group without having to notify anyone first came as a relief to Wynn.

When she reached the floor where Trevor’s office was located, she removed her mask and walked over to his office.

She tried the door handle, but before she could react, she heard Zeke’s voice. “Ms. Locket?”

“Yes,” Wynn answered calmly.

“Where’s Trevor?”

“Mr. Fleming had something to take care of. He just left.”

Wynn paused. “He left? When?”

“About ten minutes ago.”

Wynn pressed her lips together. “Is he coming back?”

“I’m sorry. He didn’t say.”

Wynn didn’t respond to his suggestion. “Okay. And could you please call Trevor for me?”

Zeke knew that Trevor hadn’t been answering Wynn’s calls lately. He also knew that Trevor probably didn’t want to see her.

So, he wasn’t entirely sure what Trevor’s attitude toward Wynn was. That was why

he still had to remain courteous toward her.

But one thing was clear, and that was Trevor didn’t want to answer Wynn’s calls

right now. So, naturally, Zeke couldn’t fulfil her request.

He said politely, “I’m sorry, but Mr.

Fleming didn’t instruct us to call him when you came I dont think it would be appropriate for me to disturb him. I hope you understand.”

Wynn was silent for a moment before saying, “It’s fine.”

Then, she went straight into the reception room and sat down. She sent Trevor a message, letting him know that she was at Fleming Group.

However, Trevor still didn’t reply. So, Wynn called Jacob again. “I’m here, but Zeke

told me that Trevor had just left before I arrived.”

Jacob was taken aback. “Mr. Fleming’s schedule has been handled by Zeke recently. I really didn’t know he’d left the company this early.”

“It’s fine.”

Wynn continued after a pause, “Would it be convenient for you to call Trevor for me?”

There was a moment of silence. “…I’m sorry.”

Wynn didn’t make things difficult for him. “It’s okay.”

Then she hung up and sent Trevor another message. “I’m at Fleming Group waiting

for you. I’ll wait until you come back.”

After sending it, she put her phone down and settled in to wait for Trevor.
