At that moment, the live broadcast of the awards ceremony happened to reach the segment where Zachary presented Celeste with her award.

She had lowered her head and stopped looking at the screen some time ago. It seemed as though she was avoiding it.
But the ceremony continued.
When they saw Celeste sincerely thanking Matthias, especially when she said that Matthias would disregard all interests and doubts and always put her first, no matter what happened, Linda felt even more bitter.
It was because Matthias had really done such things many times.

She then said, “That sounds touching. Someone who didn’t know the truth might actually believe it. But does she dare to explain exactly how Matthias ignored the company’s interests to stand firmly beside her?

She suddenly remembered that Celeste and Trevor were not officially divorced and immediately stopped talking.
Quentin’s eyes filled with ridicule as he watched Celeste expressing her gratitude and affection toward Matthias with such apparent sincerity.
Celeste had a relationship with Trevor behind Matthias, yet here she was at the awards ceremony, making her feelings for Matthias seem so genuine. She was even more hypocritical and shameless than he had imagined.
Yet, Matthias seemed to be enjoying every second of it.
