The next day, Wynn took Jordyn out to play.
They went to places that Jordyn wanted to visit, and Jordyn had a great time.
By evening, Wynn asked, “Jo, there’s a bonfire party here tonight, and there are other activities tomorrow morning too. Do you want to stay here for another night?”
Since Trevor and Celeste were both too busy to spend time with her, Jordyn had actually been quite bored. Hearing this, she immediately nodded. “Sure!”
“Then I’ll let your dad know.”
“Okay.”
Wynn picked up her phone. She originally planned to call Trevor, but just as she was about to dial, she changed it to a text message instead.
The message was sent very quickly.
Recently, Trevor rarely answered her calls, and even when she texted him, he seldom replied. Even if he did, it was usually after a long delay.
She thought this time would be the same.
Unexpectedly, not long after she sent the message, Trevor replied, “Okay, I got it. Thanks.”
Seeing his reply, Wynn paused, then sent another message. “Still busy?”

Instead, she typed, “Jo and I are going to eat first.”
This time, Trevor replied after a long while. “Okay.”
That night, Wynn and Jordyn stayed at a hotel near the scenic area.
After returning to the hotel, Jordyn even called Trevor. He picked up very quickly.
Jordyn had the call on speaker, so Wynn heard everything clearly.
Trevor was probably still in the car. As Jordyn excitedly shared the fun things she did that day, Trevor listened attentively on the other end, responding to every sentence, being extremely patient and gentle.
Not only Miles and the others, but even Wynn had felt that Trevor treated Jordyn very well.
Even when her relationship with him was at its best and when Trevor was most infatuated with her, she often felt that in his heart, Jordyn was more important than she was.

“Jo and I will probably stay here and have fun for another day. Do you have time to
come over and have a meal together tomorrow?”
Jordyn also missed Trevor a little.
Hearing Wynn ask, she quickly
added, “Yeah, Dad, why don’t you
come over and have fun with us for
half a day tomorrow?”
Trevor didn’t give a definite answer. He only said, “I’ll see if I can make some time. If
I can, I’ll let you know then.”
Jordyn replied disappointedly, “Okay then…”
They chatted for a while longer. When they were about to hang up, Trevor politely
said to Wynn, “Thanks for taking care of Jo these past two days.”
Wynn smiled and replied, “It’s no trouble at all. Having Jo accompany me on this trip makes me very happy too.”
