Lilian and Harvey remained silent while listening to the murmurs around them. So did Jorge, Narcissa, and Quentin.
They were still reeling from the shock.
Then someone seemed to recall something and suddenly spoke up. “I seem to remember hearing a long time ago that YodaVision was jointly founded by two of Mr. Newman’s students. If Ms. Rodriguez is the other founder of YodaVision, does that mean she is also…”
Lilian, Harvey, Quentin, Narcissa, Jorge, and Miles all heard him. They snapped out of their shock and immediately turned toward Matthias and Celeste.
Even Philip looked stunned.
Another person hurriedly asked, “Mr. Yoder, is this true? Is Ms. Rodriguez really one of Mr. Newman’s students?”
Under everyone’s watchful eyes, Matthias smiled. “Yes. Mr. Simmons remembered correctly. Aside from being my business partner, Cel is also my junior.”
The revelation triggered another wave of astonishment.
“No wonder Ms. Rodriguez always attended gatherings with Mr. Newman and Mr. Yoder. Mr. Newman even came personally to present Ms. Rodriguez with the award recently. We thought he simply approved of his student’s partner. So, it turns out…”
Jorge and Xavier also thought of the same thing after recovering from their shock.
Xavier swallowed hard, and as if remembering something, he looked at Jorge. “So, your father must have known about all this from the beginning?”
Jorge was speechless. But he knew the answer had to be yes. Otherwise, how could his parents have been so fond of and approving of Celeste?
When Lilian heard the revelation, she clenched her hands tightly and slowly closed her eyes. Meanwhile, Harvey simply stared at Celeste, unable to recover for a long time.

Matthias then smiled before continuing. “So, I think everyone should have a pretty good idea of just how capable my junior is.”
People outside the Al industry might not know, but those within it were well aware of just how extraordinary Celeste and Matthias were.
The fact that they had managed to take YodaVision onto the global stage and turn it into a world-class team in such a short time was proof enough of their capabilities.
To achieve that, both Celeste and
Matthias had to be among the very best in fields ranging from
mathematics and algorithms to hardware, engineering efficiency, and team management. .
