Did Trevor plan to reconcile with Celeste?
If that was the case, then why didn’t he take the initiative to break up with Wynn?
Or was it that he’d been keeping her at arm’s length because he wanted Wynn to be the one to bring up the breakup?
Or perhaps… He hadn’t done so because he still had feelings for her-only that Celeste had now become more important to him?
After the Lockets and the Shaws learned that Trevor and Celeste not only hadn’t gone to complete the divorce procedures, but had even decided to postpone the divorce for Jordyn’s sake, none of them looked pleased.
Upon hearing that Trevor wanted to reconcile with Celeste yet hadn’t broken things off with Wynn, Lilian and the others felt that, deep down, Trevor was still reluctant to let Wynn go.
Patricia said, “Wynn, since Trevor still has you in his heart, you need to take your advantage on his side.”
Ruby hurriedly chimed in, “That’s right, that’s right. Since Trevor still cares about you, if you were to accidentally get pregnant, he’d definitely put his feelings for Celeste aside and marry you instead.”
Linda found this extremely convincing and echoed excitedly, “Exactly!”
Wynn’s lashes trembled slightly.

The next day, Wynn went to the Fleming Group again when it was close to noon.
This time, she didn’t miss him.
Seeing her, Trevor paused for a moment. “Why are you here?”
Wynn smiled calmly and gracefully. “I wanted to have lunch with you.”
Trevor looked at her. After a second of silence, he withdrew his gaze and nodded. “Alright, but you’ll have to wait until I finish dealing with what I have on hand.”
“Okay.”
Trevor continued working, while Wynn sat by the coffee table, sipping tea as she waited.
Watching his side profile as he focused on his work, and recalling the look on his face earlier how he’d wanted to refuse her invitation but ultimately agreed with a hint of resignation-she was certain that he still had feelings for her.
Otherwise, he wouldn’t have compromised.
After Trevor finished handling his work, they left the office together to have lunch.
During the meal, Wynn brought up the situation at InnovaTech and ker family’s tech company. She even talked about some amusing things from when she’d taken Jordyn out a couple of days earlier.
The only thing she didn’t ask was how Trevor now viewed the situation between the two of them.
She didn’t bring it up, and neither did he.
This only further convinced Wynn that even if Trevor had developed feelings for Celeste, he still couldn’t let go of her.
However, although Trevor didn’t mention breaking up, after lunch, he still found an excuse to leave.
After he left, Wynn returned to her company as well.
Seeing her come back so early, Linda and the others were visibly disappointed.
“Wynn, why are you back so soon?” Linda asked.
“I thought…”
She’d thought that something would happen between Wynn and Trevor
today and that Wynn would
successfully get pregnant, and everything afterward would naturally fall into place.
Wynn replied calmly, “Things need to be taken slowly.”
Things between her and Trevor were no longer the same as before. She needed to
wait for the right opportunities—she couldn’t rush it.
The others nodded in agreement.
“That’s true. You can’t rush things.”

The next day, Wynn contacted Jacob to get Trevor’s schedule and waited for him at
the restaurant where he was going to attend a social engagement.
When Trevor saw her, he stopped in his tracks.
The others smiled when they noticed Wynn. “So, Ms. Locket is here too.”
Wynn smiled back, exchanged greetings with them, then walked over to Trevor and said softly, “You’ve been so busy lately that we havent had many chances to meet happen to have some free time, so I wanted to spend a bit more time with you.”
Trevor heard her out and nodded silently. He didn’t seem upset at all.
