Over the past two years, Jordyn had grown increasingly distant from Celeste, even to the point of disliking her. All of them had seen this with their own eyes.

They had assumed that Jordyn’s dislike for Celeste would persist, right up until the mother and daughter became completely estranged.

They hadn’t expected this instead…

At first, they didn’t know that Celeste had gone to work at YodaVision.

But now that YodaVision’s reputation was rising rapidly, both domestically and abroad, it was impossible not to know.

What surprised them even more was that Celeste hadn’t just followed through on leaving Fleming Group as she’d said—she was now thriving at YodaVision.

As for her relationship with Matthias…

Seeing Celeste now sitting at the same table as Trevor, yet barely sparing him a glance, her calm and detached demeanor made it seem as though she had truly let go of him completely.

When they’d first heard rumors about her and Matthias, they hadn’t quite believed them.

After all, they knew better than anyone how deeply Celeste had once loved Trevor. How could she have moved on so completely, so quickly?

But now, seeing how differently she treated Trevor compared to the past, they finally believed it.

Celeste really had let him go.

Hearing that Fleming Group and YodaVision were currently cooperating quite smoothly, they glanced toward Celeste.

They couldn’t help wondering whether Celeste would be involved in that collaboration.

Yet when the topic came up, Celeste didn’t even lift her eyelids. She appeared utterly unperturbed, as though it stirred no emotion in her at all. Seeing this, they withdrew their gazes.

After the meal, Celeste spent most of her time accompanying Martha.

As for Queenie and Teagan, aside from nodding politely in greeting at the beginning, she didn’t speak to them at all.

Likewise, neither Queenie nor Teagan made any effort to initiate a conversation with her.

At around nine in the evening, while Jordyn had gone upstairs to take a shower, Celeste prepared to leave.

Judging by how happily Jordyn had gone upstairs, it was obvious to

anyone that she believed Celene

would be staying the ght atthe manor.

Given how attached Jordyn was to Celeste right now, once she came downstairs after her shower and discovered that Celeste had left without a word she would definitely be upset

Hearing this, Trevor looked at Celeste. “Jo will probably make a fuss. Why don’t you stay the night?”

Seeing this, Queenie and Teagan realized that Trevor and Celeste still hadn’t told Jordyn about their impending divorce.

It seemed they intended to keep hiding it for now.

Watching Trevor take the initiative to ask Celeste to stay the night for Jordyn’s

sake—both Queenie and Teagan were somewhat surprised.

They could clearly see Trevor’s patience toward Jordyn, as well as the tenderness in his eyes. He truly loved his daughter.

To be honest, this was something that surprised them too.

They had never expected that after having a daughter, Trevor would dote on her so much.

After all, Trevor always appeared smiling and gentle on the surface, but in reality, he was quite emotionally detached.

Before Jordyn came along, aside

from Martha, although he seemed to

get along well with the rest of the family, he actually kept everyone at a

measured distance-neither too close nor too far.

Celeste shook her head. “No. I’ll call her later.”

Seeing how firm Celeste was, Trevor nodded and didn’t press further. Instead, he

stood up and said, “I’ll walk you out.”

Celeste nodded. “Alright.”

Everyone else could tell that Trevor likely had something he wanted to say to Celeste.

So, they tactfully refrained from following them.
